"Green kings puds are great for a cheap, good quality meal and drink. The fact there is a hotel with nice clean spacious room next door makes it an easy choice. The rooms where clean, with daily house keeping. The only point that could do with improvement was the hall paint work was badly scratched."

"Checked in to the premises for an overnight stay. We were met by a tall young woman who was very welcoming and friendly and I was invited to complete details into a machine, then asked to pay the cost of the accommodation there and then. I explained that I had already done so with Hotels.com.Our room was situated over the bar area. The room was an adequate clean twin bedded space. "Worst experience ever at a hotel. To begin with we were handed the wrong keys for our rooms and given NO keys for entry into the actual building. This absolutely ruined the weekend as we were forced to sleep on the streets. We woke up and returned to the hotel with a cold and was given no apology or explanation just was told the door is now fixed and to turn the handle the other way. "It was good. Room was dusty and mattress cover didn’t fit properly but other than that it was clean. Room position was noisy due to workmen on roof opposite. Also constant noise of bottles being emptied into bin through the night kept us awake. Lifts were slow and one was out of order for most of our stay. Location was great and close to everything.
