We had a very enjoyable stay at Marlais, and only wished we could have stayed longer.
We had a very enjoyable stay at Marlais, and only wished we could have stayed longer. The location was excellent, and the cottage nicely presented, with everything we needed. Lovely views from the back door, where we sat and had breakfast. We fully expect to return.

Beautiful cottage overlooking the West of the Brecon Beacons.
Beautiful cottage overlooking the West of the Brecon Beacons. Well located to venture over to the hills or to go over to the coast. The tele is a little out-dated and we found the bed a little uncomfortable, but these are small criticisms in an otherwise lovely little holiday cottage.

A lovely, spacious and very warm modern cottage with a wonderful view over the valley to the Black M
A lovely, spacious and very warm modern cottage with a wonderful view over the valley to the Black Mountains. The track up to the site needs careful negotiation and there are some ramshackle farm buildings to the side and rear of the cottage but the area is very quiet and we enjoyed watching the barn owl arriving at and leaving the barn at the back. The kitchen is large and mostly well equipped and organised for recycling but could perhaps use a grater and some new cutlery. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding non-feather. There are plenty of towels and toilet rolls and the shower is a joy. There is a petrol station with shop nearby but we shopped at the Co-op in Llandeilo which is a short drive away. All in all, this is one of the nicest places I have stayed; we had a lovely relaxing time and the owners were delightful. Thank you very much.
