The room is outdated and the rug should be replaced. There was NO air conditioning in the room, which made it uncomfortable for us to sleep.

At dinner last night my Wife asked me to rate the hotel. Considering I have been in the coach touring industry for 60 years I initially said the Imperial was there with the best. I then thought of the others, Hilton included, had second thoughts. I would put the Imperial Hotel, STAFF and location as THE TOPS of my list. Well done

Lovely hotel excellent staff. Our room had a wonderful balcony with lovely views of the beach. The only slight disappointment was the pool area which was very tired and not very well pleasant

Grand old hotel on seafront with excellent sea views and traditional values. Breakfast very good and food at chantreys also high quality and good value. Slightly old fashioned and largely an elderly clientele

Excellent stay, spacious and spotless rooms. Amazing views from the front facing rooms. The bed was comfy. Breakfast had a great choice and you can have sea views from the restaurant. Staff was quite attentive and helpful throughout. Loved the pool and jacuzzi! Opening hours are quite wide which was really appreciated. It was a bit above our usual price range but for a special occasion, it really was worth the money.

Extremely friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. However the dressing table mirror was badly placed, when sitting I could not see myself. It was too high. If I stood to look into it it made my head look like a sausage. We had a good laugh. Would happily return for another visit
