I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now for the times I have needed to visit Llanelli, and each time the hotel has been welcoming and the rooms have been nice. The main reception area is nice and the staff are always friendly. Easy parking at the hotel. Room was clean and pleasant. Will continue to use this hotel on my visits.

Good value for money, room was clean, bed was comfortable if a little dated. We ate in the Copper Bar and chose the mushroom linguine & asked if the Parmesan crust was vegetarian & were told it wasn’t, so beware, the vegetarian meal isn’t, the chef swapped Parmesan for cheddar, which was inedible.

Lovely room and outlook. Staff friendly and welcoming. Very clean and tidy. Bed was the most exceptionally hard and uncomfortable that we have ever had where ever we have stayed. Sorry Stradey Park - nil points.

This is a really nice hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Food was really good. The walk from the car park to reception is quite steep and it’s a bit awkward if you have a heavy suitcase on arrival. Would be happy to stay again when I am next working in the area.

Big, clean and comfortable room overlooking lots of trees. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed but you could have dinner at the bar. The spa was also closed, they did let us know when booking with a reminder a week or two before arrival, so it wasn’t a surprise when we got there.

I enjoyed my stay overall. Most of the staff were very friendly. I had a nice chat with one of the bartenders. I didn’t catch his name but he was young and a little heavyset. The other chap wasn’t friendly and I think he’d benefit from some feedback and customer service training. It comes naturally to some people but not everyone. The food was great as well as the wine selections. I thought the food prices were very good. I enjoyed the breakfast too. My room was comfortable and functional and I sport the sea view alone the ability to crack open the windows at night for some fresh air. Pillows, sheet and duvet were great better than several hotels I’ve stayed in recently. It’s clear the hotel is still undergoing maintenance and improvements since reopening and I can completely understand. In some places it felt upgraded and then in others worn and dated. I really hope there is continued upgrading of the hotel and staff training and motivation and this place and the people deserve to succeed.
