Highly recommended
Ideal for us grandparents and our two children and their families. May not appear close but is in fact just a few minutes walk along a beautiful canal to the village centre. Super village, good riverside pub, plenty to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed out visit to Plas Newydd, in Llangollen.

New Years Break
We stayed at this beautiful cottage through New Year, family of 7 and dogs, it was everything that we expected and more. The cottage was absolutely perfect, there were plenty of lovely walks around, we hired E-bikes through Bear Trax which was fun. All local amenities which included shops, pubs and restaurants (dog friendly) were within easy walking distance. Highly recommend this cottage and we will definitely be back to stay again.

The perfect short break!
I have just returned from a four day break at the canalside house in Llangollen. It was wonderful. The house itself is stunning, with plenty of space and everything you could possibly need for a few days away. There was a lovely welcome pack to greet us when we arrived and we felt instantly relaxed and at home due to the lovely surroundings. The house is old with beams and some low door frames so a bit of ducking is necessary for taller guests! The location is fantastic; just a short stroll to Llangollen which has plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants and a longer but very pleasant stride along the tow path to some great local landmarks such as Horseshoe Falls and the aqueduct. The horse drawn boats go past the house regularly which is a real novelty and the little garden area is a great place to sit and watch the world go by. We would love to return and thoroughly recommend for anyone looking for a break in a beautiful home and setting.
