The information pack sent was really easy to understand, facilities for a shepherds hut are like a 5star hotel. "The cottage was clean and well furnished and the kitchen well equiped. Had a nice outside area where we could sit and enjoy the sun and is fenced in which is great for small dogs. Definitely recommend staying here."

"I loved my time at the yurt, it was such a peaceful and restorative environment! Louise and Anthony were amazing hosts, very responsive with communication and made me feel welcome and comfortable. The beautiful scenery and lovely walks were just what I needed, and Bow Street was a great home-base for me as I did not need a car and could walk to the village for groceries and take the bus or train to surrounding areas. I would absolutely stay here again!"

Located not too far from Devil's Bridge, out in the countryside, surrounded by fields of sheep, we had such a lovely, peaceful stay. "The staff were very polite and very helpful could do enough for us. The only thing that was a bit of a pain was the allergies menu was on the website. As I don’t bring my mobile out with me it took sometime to get the menu up. I don’t know why there isn’t a card with allergy's menu like the standard one. "

This is a lovely hotel and its location on the promenade made it absolutely perfect for my love of absea view and my rock collecting hobby. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Fantastic service

"On arrival reception explained that they had problems with their emails etc and when they received my realised they had no ground rooms available. They allowed us to use a bungalow they rent out im another village.It was fantastic, hot tub swimming pool etc. The hotel itself were brilliant and very helpful "

A quality, historic hotel

"The Gwesty’r Marine Hotel is part of an older Victorian Era district. It shows its age at times, but the overall experience is outstanding. The people are very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable except that it got pretty hot on the one really sunny day we had (which was unusual for November). If you are expecting a modern hotel with all the newest amenities, you will find more issues. If you want a great place to stay, within walking distance of the city center, and don’t mind some historical ambience, you will not be disappointed. The restaurant also has great choices for dinner."

Great value

"Swift and easy check-in. The family room had two bedrooms which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Could have done with a rubber bath mat but found out later we could have asked for one. Similarly de-caff tea and coffee I guess. We had our 4-year-old granddaughter with us but there were no issues with noise from the bar below. Limited menu but food was very good. Steaks were lovely. Nice pint too. Great breakfast. Excellent service from friendly, attentive, courteous and efficient staff. Would stay again."
