"Had a lovely holiday at Meadow End Barn celebrating my 70th birthday with family.Property clean and well equipped,although a washing line would have been useful.Coralie and villagers very friendly and welcoming.Had a couple of meals at the local pub,very friendly staff and very accommodating for disabled members in my party. "Cottage was warm and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Ample parking and a secluded back garden. Perfect for the weekend. Added bonus was the log fire. "

"Lovely location, very spacious property with amazing spaces. Kitchen spacious and well equipped. Beds comfortable. bathrooms good. Great bonus as it wasn’t exactly “flaming June” was the snooker table, especially for the youngsters , there were many challenging matches! Outside facilities were great but because of the weather not uses apart from table tennis and basketball net. Plenty to see and do only a short drive away."

The terrace became a second room and we spent most of our time there, joyfully chatting and admiring the view. "Very clean and well equipped. Check in information good. Getting information on how to check out at 1:55 in the morning was less than helpful as it woke us up. We have to leave some alerts on as husband receives medical alerts overnight. It may not be a problem for those who can switch a do not disturb on. Also had to message to request an internet password for the medical monitoring. Owner was very helpful and provided it straight away but it would be helpful to have it available if internet is...

"nice room ,clean and very quiet,also FRESH AIR available as it was possible to open the window instead of the usual plastic sealed room.shower room good,modern,heated towel rail ,no nasty tiles,illuminated mirror.Had lunch in the pub,absolutely fine but the real winner was the indian restaurant,part of the same business.Absolutely fantastic food.I was expecting standard dishes but this was different and great.Loved every minute of the stay"

"The B&B was a last minute booking to break a journey up. So glad we selected this property. The house was very well presented. Rooms had everything you could need including plenty of space. We opted for breakfast and that was excellent value. Despite the property being located next to a busy main road it was really well insulated for sound with very little to no disturbance. The area had lots of routes and walks plus the pub opposite was really hospitable for an evening meal and drink. "

"We had a short (one night) stay but thought the hotel was great. We had free parking right outside our room which came with standard amenities and was spacious. Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful, just so accommodating. We were ready to book in for a family swim session but were so pleased it was free as we were guests, the pool area is lovely and has a lovely hot tub/ sauna. They provided all towels for the spa too so no need to bring your own from your room. We booked in the restaurant and had no issue booking in with a high chair for our 1yr old, we ordered a light bite for her and the chef was happy to make it smaller for her - they offered this without us requesting. Breakfast was great, help yourself to fruits/drinks/toast and then order a large plated breakfast from the menu - lots of choice and all really tasty. The only thing was that our room was absolutely boiling and we could only open a patio door to let some air in, which was fine until we wanted to sleep as it was a fairly climbable wall by the outside road and didn’t feel it was wise to leave it open all night while we slept. Perhaps there was a way to keep it ajar without it being opened from the outside and we didn’t realise. Overall though, the staff were just super friendly and provided the best customer service, it really makes such a difference when staff are genuinely helpful. "
