"We decided last minute to have a girl’s night in Ohio. I usually spend weeks searching for the best place and book months in advance. Being that I didn’t have time for any research I pretty much crossed my fingers, held my breath and booked the 1st available listing. "We loved our visit to Malabar Orchard! The grounds were extremely well kept and there were mowed pathways back to the well-stocked fishing pond. I caught five large bass in about an hour! It was peaceful and a great getaway for my wife and I. The owner tells you to bring drinking water, and that was great advice as the tapwater is well water and smells pretty poorly, but Mike has done a great job in putting together the rental property. "Staying here was enjoyable overall. Everything was nice and clean, but the blanket was quite thin and didn't provide enough warmth. I had to turn up the heat to stay warm at night. Additionally, the blanket was somewhat slippery and scratchy. Despite these issues, everything else was good."
