No milk in room, pub was closed for a VIP and had to walk up two flights of stairs with cases as they were holding the lift for the VIP- not a good expierence this time - normally I don’t have these issues

Love the Victorian theme of this hotel, the restaurant that it’s attached to is the best part! Wish I stayed more nights. It’s pretty quiet in the night so you will be ordering in food. Emma was super helpful!

Staff are friendly and helpful. Have stayed here several times over the past year. Would highly recommend. Comfortable beds and beautiful rooms. The rooms are serviced daily to a very high standard. Fantastic location. Unfortunately the bar is too busy in the evening to eat in. The food is high quality. Could only be improved if they did room service for the bar food in the evenings.

Good location if you need to work or do things in the area. Hotel room is clean and modern. Comfy bed. Just an issue I had, the bar/resturant of hotel doesn’t have food late at night when they are still open. Nearest place, a 10min walk

Lovely find for a weekend in London.
The counting house is a hotel at the side of a pub there is a separate entrance. The room was small but was perfect for what we needed. Had a great nights sleep over the 2 nights, it’s so quiet. Mini bar was complimentary with water and soft drinks. Also provided is an iron, hairdryer and toiletries. Breakfast is included in the room price and was delicious on both mornings. They also catered for gluten free. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Very happy with the hotel.

Staff were amazing
Outstanding service in a very well kept boutique hotel. Food was just as good as the service. The location sits just a few blocks from the subway stations. You will hardly need to use them as many attractions, restaurants, and shopping are only a short walk from the hotel.

Great find. Rooms A1. Staff so helpful. Room was ready so allowed to check in a little early and bags stored on checkout for later pick up. Breakfast was great start to the morning. Good location for tube, buses or just walk. Will definitely go again. Great value for money in the city location.

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff are lovely, courteous and helpful. The room was clean, modern and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was yummy with mini continental and menu to choose from. Went for eggs Benedict which was awesome! Thank you will definitely return.

Quiet, Comfortable Room With Excellent Breakfast
We enjoyed our stay at Counting House immensely. It's the quietest hotel in an urban setting I've ever experienced! Our room was on the first floor just above the pub. On the night of the Euro Cup final, where everyone was cheering and screaming and singing (and ultimately crying, sorry England), we heard absolutely nothing in our room. Amazing! Lovely, friendly reception and pub staff. Great location, very clean room, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. I especially loved both the English breakfast and the avocado-chili sourdough with poached eggs.
