The hotel was in a great location close to the underground just off of the park. The condition of the hotel is a little tired in places and the rooms are small. The hotel however is very clean. The staff at the hotel were lovely particularly the staff in the restaurant at breakfast.

The property had some great character on the lower floors. It was close to 2 tube stations and a short walk to some lovely restaurants. Breakfast choices of hot and cold buffet. Staff were all very friendly. Our double room on the 7th room was very small, not sure 2 adults would fit comfortably as my 9 year old child and myself struggled. The room was a little tired; carpet coming up in the corner, material coming off the headboard, window difficult to open, peeling paint. We didn't stay in the room long over our 3 day visit. I think rooms on the lower floor were larger.

Stayed during business trip. Place location is great! The hotel entrance has a few steps so watch out if you have heavy luggage. My coworker was put in a very odd room next to front construction. This room sb severely discounted. Odd steps to room with a separate door to hallway and then twin bed in room with bathroom 2 steps walk down entrance. He said he fell out of the bed in the middle of the night. Too small of a bed for sure when he paid for a queen.Staff was nice, but should have given him a better room.

We were allowed to check in early which was very nice and we loved the breakfast staff each am. Breakfast itself was more than adequate. However, we paid for a larger double room...can't imagine what smaller room & bed would have been like for 2 people. Also, could not take a shower without soaking the rest of the tiny bathroom (shower had no curtain) and the noise from adjacent street towards the back of the hotel was pretty loud and noisy.

This was a fine property for my short stay. I was there two nights and didn’t require much. The only thing to note, was on the 8th floor where my room was located, there was a constant light noise. I can only describe it as the sound you hear when you get a busy signal calling someone. It never stopped. I was able to get used to it and it didn’t bother me, but I could see it bothering someone else. Everything else was fine. Lovely hotel close to the central public transport.

The walking space in the bathroom was 2 feet x 2 feet. Not possible to walk around the bed, only possible in one side, bedroom way too small. Charge for water in the room, after you drink the first bottle Definitely not like the rooms advertise in the photos, very different.

We stayed for 1 night at the Grand Royale Hyde Park in the short 36hrs we were in London and we would happily come back again. We arrived in London at 6:30am and headed straight to the hotel as they offer luggage storage. We freshened up using their facilities and checked our luggage in. To our surprise unlike many hotels in London the luggage storage was free and there wasn’t a set amount of time we could keep it there. After a full day of travelling around London we headed back to the hotel to finish our check in and head to our room. We booked a superior double room which was smaller than expected but it came with a window so that was a bonus. The room was standard and clean and housekeeping left a beautiful display of towel swans on the bed along with scattered flower petals. The room had complimentary water and fruit and had coffee making facilities. The bathroom was a decent size and was clean, this had everything you needed in there, shampoo, body wash and lotion as well as the additional dental kits and shaving kit if you forgot your own. The bed was comfortable and rested us well, there was no noise in or around the hotel that kept us from sleeping and the hotel is situated next to 2 different tube stations which host 2 separate lines making travel easy. Our room had an A4 sized folder which held all information you might need regarding London, restaurants with addresses and numbers, hotel details and more.
