There is still a sign on the door saying the property shouldn’t be used commercially due to failing fire safety checks. The fire panel was showing silenced faults when we entered. Everything was dirty in the venue, there were mouse dropping and loads of random stains. The bed was really old or damaged, it was really uncomfortable.

There is nothing good about this property! Except its proximity to some places so plan to visit and nearby bus and train station. The property owner cannot maintain this place. He has no staff to assist him.I have reported this man to action fraud.ik for misrepresenation I have reported this to Kensington Chelsea City Voincil that this. business property be closed for the safety of guests he will victimize.The owner does not respond to emails and phone calls and not even professional enough to settle amicably. His card reader does not work and will demand cash and this will victimize the client and not able to dispute credit card companies. At the front door we only noticed a note from their fire department that the property should not be used for commercial purposes. I reported this to Expedia and I hold Expedia accountable too since this property is in their network.

The property had a health & safety Article 31 notice on the door so shouldn’t have been accepting guest, the room was filthy. We had no choice but to book alternative accommodation as there was no way we could stay there.

This was the worst accommodation I have ever stayed at. There were blood and urine stains on our sheets, the toilet did not flush, dust everywhere, food scraps on the tables and horrible customer service. Although complained the owner tried to convince us that it was clean and we were getting a great price. Would absolutely not recommended such a waste of money and disgusting.

The room we checked into hadn’t been cleaned after the previous tenants. The bed had been slept in, the fridge was full of rotting food, there was refuse on the counters. The floor in the bathroom was cracked and a massive trip hazard. The room had no towels or toilet paper. Every surface was covered in grime and the floor hadn’t been vacuumed. The manager was rude and told us there was nothing he could do about it and told me to clean it up, handing me a garbage bag. I am currently awaiting a full refund.

The owner is old and never return message or calls through Expedia. Spiders on the wall, bed bugs on the mattresses, toilets filthy, disgusting, ran down like a crack house, trap house, blankets with piss stains on them, broken chandelier, miscellaneous old broken down furniture, broken water heater laying at the front entry door of room, odor blankets that never been wash, scary, and should be ban from Expedia as an partner. Customer service representative Elvis said to get out and recommended Brunel Hotel for our safety. Expedia can’t get ahold of owner to refund the full amount of money. Expedia should be held accountable for allowing this to happen to its customer with a horrible experience. We check out the next day and the Expedia customer representative Elvis found us a safe, and clean hotel in Paddington. Now we are waiting for Expedia to refund us our money for this nasty experience.

Hotel turns out to be a hovel
This might just be the worst hotel I’ve stayed in in the past 20 years. Had to wait more than an hour to get the front door unlocked, the host is an 86-year-old man who should have retired years ago. The lobby was very dirty, thick layers of dust on every surface, un-vacuumed carpets, he wouldn’t accept a credit card and refused to show us the room till we fetched the money from a bank in the area. The awful suite was in the basement, dimly lit, filthy kitchen, carpets, peeling wallpaper, unmade bed, no fresh towels, bathroom absolutely disgusting. We complained and were given a bigger suite on the second floor. At first glance it seemed better but then we realized that it also had not been cleaned: unmade beds in the two bedrooms, dirty towels, peeling wallpaper, filthy carpets, kitchen and bathrooms. Truly not fit to stay in. But we couldn’t get our money back so we sucked it up and stayed for the four nights we’d paid for. Absolutely no room service, the bathroom tap came off in my hands, the dishes were grimy, most of the lamps didn’t work, I could go on but my fury is finally spent! I wouldn’t wish this upon anyone except maybe a few rotten politicians.

The neighborhood looked appealing, near Hyde Park. But, while friendly and nice, the host is unresponsive to any form of inquiry. No replies to emails and phone calls. We connected by chance at the property front door to check in after a long wait outside with no responses. He was not expecting our arrival, even with reservations made weeks before. Flat was not cleaned. The flat had no hot water, the kitchen was poorly equipped, and very dirty and moldy. We could not use anything in the kitchen, or take a shower with no hot water. The keys to the building and the flat worked very poorly, nearly locking us out on the front step in the dark. We left after the first night, with two more nights unused, and so far no response for any refund.

Meine Frau und ich waren vom 27.6.-30.6. dort 3 Nächte gebucht. Am ersten Tag war der Hotelmanaer bis abends nicht zu erreichen. Wir standen vor verschlossener Tür und haben uns um 20:00 ein benachbartes Hotel gesucht für eine Nacht (= doppelte Kosten). Gegen 20:30 meldete sich der Hotelmanager, er hätte uns doch zu erreichen versucht etc. Bla Bla Die kommenden 2 Nächte haben wir dann in der ursprünglich gebuchten Unterkunft verbracht. Ein Desaster. Die kleine Küche ekelhaft schmutzig, im Schlafzimmer löste sich die Tapete von der Decke, im Bad kein Klopapier, auf das Sofa mochte man sich nicht setzen und Freunde der Kaltwassertbehandlung im Sinne von Sebastian Kneipp wären voll auf ihre Kosten gekommen, die Dusche war nämlich kalt. Einen Staubsauger hat diese Unterkunft schon lange nicht mehr gesehen. Vom Hotelmanager das ganze Wochenende nichts zu sehen, stattdessen vor unserer Zimmertür ein Müllsack, bei der Rezeption stapelten sich die ungeöffneten Briefe, das ganze Ding scheint wie verlassen. Unterm Strich eine glatte 6, nichts von den schönen Beschreibungen auf der Expedia Buchungsseite hat sich bewahrheitet; das Gegenteil war der Fall. Dieses "Hotel" muss schleunigst aus dem Programm genommen werden!
