OYÓ Bakers is very close to both the Victoria Coach station and London Victoria Train station. The staff is very helpful. The room is cramped, but relatively clean.

Stayed at this hotel a few times now, convenient for Victoria stations, and a lovely little area of shops close by. Walkable to lots of attractions. Staff friendly and helpful. Beds are comfy and breakfast is a bonus these days. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent location but sadly, my experience was horrible. Staircases are quite already steep and staff were very inconsiderate leaving vacuum cleaner in walking path down staircases which was very unsafe. My “private” bathroom was also quite nasty- others were using it and it was leaving from the day I got there to the day I left. Water heater also was non-existent. It’s a lovely property but needs better management.

Decent budget hotel

Room was fine, just noisy with being at the front of the building next to the street. Pigeons also made a lot of noise on the rooftop early in the morning. Staff member on the front desk seemed like they'd much rather be anywhere apart from there, but check-in was smooth. Breakfast was basic but it was included in the room rate so I can't fault it. Overall I'd stay again.

Lovely little place

The staff we spoke to whilst there were all friendly and helpful. Our room was clean when we arrived, some stains found on the base of the beds, what looked like burn marks on some parts of the carpets. But overall a lovely little place to stay, close to Victoria coach station and also the underground.

Good location, room was clean and a decent size. Check in quick and easy. There was heavy rainfall and the ceiling was leaking in both bedroom and en suite, also one light was hanging off the wall.

Friendly welcome, swift registration process. We had a basement family room allocated. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Clean cotton bedding on a reasonably comfortable bed. Our room began to flood due to heavy rain so the carpet was quite wet and the small electric heater didn't work so we were a bit cold. I didn't try and sort it out as I was tired and they were full so a different room wouldn't have been an option. I would stay again as it was a very short walk from the nearest bus stop and for an overnight stay, very reasonably priced

We stayed for three nights on the top floor, at the start of August . The first day was warm, and that made our room very uncomfortable and hot. Stairs are very narrow (two feet) and steep. Bathroom needs good scrubbing around the base of shower pan, Beds are not comfortable. Towels and linens are clean Breakfast is very basic, only two choices of pork cold cuts, sweet yogurt, some cereal Stuff was VERY friendly, accommodating, and helpful

Good central location. I had booked the OYO Bakers hotel for a friends 40th. The gentleman on reception was excellent. I had bought banners to put up in the room, which he was happy to do. He decorated the room further with balloons for us. Rooms were clean and tidy. Water pressure was fine.

Milk for drinks missing from room Milk for breakfast smelt off I was part of a group of runners for the London landmarks half had to wait a lot for reception greeting Door handle for my room came off in my hand which was reported not an issue but not really a response either No attention during breakfast to see if we had all we needed Nice decor and solo room upgraded to double Great base

Overall good but skip breakfast and no lift!

The room itself was clean and a comfortable bed with no real view. This property is NOT suitable for anyone with any physical disabilities as there is no lift and only very narrow staircases (you would also struggle with more than just hand luggage.) The breakfast offering was laughably bad, dont bother, continental with little choice. However the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with a nice amount of teas and coffees. Victoria station is about a 10 minute walk. I would recommend for a 1/2 night stay but you'll probably need to get breakfast elsewhere and if you arent physically fit you might struggle with 6 flights of stairs if you are on top floor

Nice staff, great location, needs revamped

Hotel is great 5/10min walk from Victoria Station. Staff friendly on desk however never seen anyone else, either at breakfast or cleaning the rooms. 3 night stay and had 1 large towel and 1 small towel that wasn't changed. Stayed on top floor and no aircon but room had a large fan that had to remain on all night due to incredibly close conditions. Overall cleanliness of room was poor; stained curtains and wall, holes in ceiling and bathroom needed remedial work done in certain areas. However location was the main reason I chose this and price was competitive to area and time of visit.

The start of my stay here was good. The room was small but cozy the area is good and the room was comfortable. I had room 8 which has a bathroom included however is it detached from the room and located down the staircase. The bathroom is very nice and has a sign that says “Room 8 Only” however I noticed that someone else was using the restroom. At least twice. Possibly more. The bathroom was steamy from someone taking a shower. I reported it to staff immediately following finding out someone just showered and asked the bathroom be cleaned they never cleaned it. I’ll let you know if I end up coming down with athletes food or ringworm or something.

When we got there, they showed us to our room then five minutes later they knocked and made us change rooms. They booked us in a room at the very top of the property, at least five flights of stairs. The heating wasn’t working when we got back at about 11 pm and there was no one at the front desk to talk to. The room was super tiny and felt like I was a prisoner at the top of a tower. Really terrible experience and I will pay more for anything nicer next time.

No empathy for customers

This was to be my first stay here and I booked a non-refundable room (so I am aware of that when I comment here) and rang the hotel & Hotels.com in advance of the booking to see if I could change it due to the train strikes. There was no chance of them changing the booking to a later date, they just didn't even entertain the idea. Just said I would love my money if I didn't turn up. The hotel rang me on the evening of check-in to see what time I was arriving - I explained again why I was not turning up and they really didn't care, even when I said I would not be using them again in the future.
