Great budget accommodation for this location. Friendly service and bag storage at reception. The trade offs are no AC and poor wifi in the room (but fine outside).

Excellent experience staff helpful and amenities adequate. Only one issue the shower drain partially blocked so a long shower was not on the cards☹️ But don’t let it put you off all good really 😉👍

We stayed at Prince’s Gardens during our trip to London for the BST Hyde Park Festival on July 2025, and it was a fantastic experience. The location was perfect—right in South Kensington and just a short walk to Hyde Park, museums, and the Tube. The room was clean, simple, and perfect for a summer stay. What really stood out was the staff—especially Talha at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and friendly. He made check-in smooth and gave us great tips on navigating the area. Highly recommend for anyone visiting London in the summer. Great value, safe area, and an unbeatable location.

Good value summer accommodation in Imperial College student halls. Convenient for Knightsbridge, Hyde Park, Museums and restaurants. Clean white bedding and towels. Secure. Very basic room, no tv or fridge. Good for an overnight stay.

It presents itself as a hotel, but it is student halls of residence. Check-in and breakfast in different building to where I was staying. Not clearly explained in booking process.

Check in slow and was delayed. Room was BOILING hot (wasn’t even that hot outside)- didn’t sleep a wink. Bed very uncomfortable and woken up with a bad back. Only one towel given despite two of us staying. Brilliant location - short walk to Hyde Park. Wouldn’t stay again.

HORRIBLE PLACE!!! This is not a Hotel, these are dorms. Honestly I wouldn’t have mind if it would have been advertised as such. No air conditioning or amenities usually found in hotel rooms. I felt like I got scammed by them not advertising it as University dorms. It was loud and annoying. Will never stay here and don’t recommend for others to stay here as well.

The whole experience of staying here was dreadful. 100% DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The booking does not say anything about this being student accommodation. I paid just short of £200 for 1 night which is disgusting for student accommodation with no facilities. Staff who didnt know what they were doing (obviously new/part time for summer). Some tried to help; manager was very rude & unhelpful. Keys didnt work on return from evening out. Took 45 minutes , 3 keys & security to get us in. Ruined what was supposed to be a celebratory weekend. Good location near the Albert Hall is the only thing in its favour. I would never stay here again & advise others not to unless only paying £50/night.

The Expedia listing is misleading, this is not a hotel, this is student accommodation / dorm rooms that allow tourists for a certain period of time. So if you don’t want to stay in a dorm room, please do NOT book this place. The dorm room is quite small and has very little amenities (a water bottle, kettle, tea bags). The room is relatively clean but the building is quite old and because of how small the dorm room is and the layout, I was constantly hitting my head or foot on something. It made for a terrible stay. Reception is in another building because it’s a dorm room in a hall. It’s loud because it’s a college area. If I knew this was a dorm room, I would never have booked this place. Especially not at the price I paid. I’m incredibly upset. The check out time is also quite early which was inconvenient. I think this was horrible and I would never recommend this to anyone.

Superb location, for Albert Hell, museums etc. Accommodation is a student hall (for Imperial College) out of term - therefore rather spartan (no TV) but perfectly functional, clean, and relatively cheap for this part of London. Useful bar and small shop on site.
