Summary:
You can't have it all they say, but when it comes to this apartment you can. An open 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with high ceilings in the centre of London. Despite the hustle and bustle of being in the heart of the city, this is a tranquil home adorned with colour and fun. An open kitchen and dining area is surrounded by tall windows letting in the light of the city. At night retire to the mezzanine level to cosy up on the sofa or complete your work at the desk with perspective from above!

The Space:
People can often be daunted when it comes to incorporating colour into interior design, but this Paddington apartment owns it. Its a colour palette that delights.

The different coloured furnishings in the TV room and bedrooms are uplifting and complement the wood of the floors and dining table. The addition of high arched windows accentuate the plentiful amount of natural light that comes in through the large windows. The kitchen has plenty of sleek surface space for preparing home-cooked dinners, while the bathrooms play it comparatively safer with the dazzlingly white tiles.

The fact that we've got this far without mentioning the home's incredible location is a testament to the quality of the interior. The centre of Paddington and a ten minutes' walk, to Hyde Park or 20 minute walk to Notting Hill or Marylebone.

Beautiful Flat in a Fabulous Location
The property looked exactly like the listing. The art truly is a positive aspect of the flat. Someone has great (and fun) taste. The proximity to the Paddington station means whatever you want to do is extremely accessible. We arrived prior to check-in time (as most Americans do) and the cleaner of the property was kind enough to let us store our bags while we got a coffee. I recommend this property and would stay there again.

Great Paddington Location With A Bit of Noise
With five nights in London for a family holiday it was important to be close to transportation. Of course, you are always fairly close to transportation in London. But, we had plans for Bath Spa, so Paddington was the perfect location for our itinerary. Everything about the apartment was accurately described in the listing. The only thing omitted was the noise you will experience from construction outside if you plan to sleep in. We didn't care about sleeping in, so not a bother at all. However, our neighbor above had other plans between midnight and 4 AM most evenings, which was annoying. We understand older apartments have this, and most tune it out. I would suggest earplugs. The other annoyance was the beaming green light from the aircon in the master bedroom. Bring eye masks, or you will feel like the Terminator stares at you all night. I didn't want to write this review until we could stay in other Paris, Venice, and Florence properties. Areas of improvement could be spent on little things like the knobs on the master bedroom drawer that fell off and replacing the artwork on the bedroom wall. This is nitpicking, but when you spend your money on this apartment, you expect not to find such things. Again, this is nitpicking—one last thing of note. I got the sense I was being a bother with the constant exclamation points at the end of sentences when asking about the possibility of an early check-in. We were not told until the day we arrived we could check in a little early.

Beautiful apartment and very convenient to everything!
We rented this apartment for a girls weekend in London and it was wonderful! This apartment is very clean and spacious. It is right next to Paddington station and within walking distance of many places that tourists may want to visit. The landlord responded quickly to our questions and addressed the minor issues we had with the place (getting the AC to work). I would highly recommend this rental and would definitely stay there again! There is some construction work happening on the building next door which was heard from one bedroom but not the other. And the apartment door is on the second floor so you do need to carry suitcases up one narrow staircase. We are out most of the trip but the kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook. Absolutely lovely place!

Perfect flat for a quick stay in London
My nephew and I had a wonderful stay. The flat is clean, bright, super functional and had PLENTY of space for the two of us. We even watched a movie one night in the comfy tv room upstairs. The flat is quiet yet near everything you need. We would stay there again.

London Gem!
We stayed at this flat during a visit to see our daughter who was studying abroad in London. The location is perfect - very close to Paddington Station, which made navigating the city super easy. It's close to many restaurants, shopping, parks, quaint neighborhoods. The beds were super comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped, and the overall vibe is clean and creative. Loved the loft feature, too. The communication from our host was quick and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again on future visits!

Fantastic Find
I was looking for a great place close to everything and this place hit all the right marks. Quite neighborhood, super cool flat with all the comforts of home. It’s super close to Paddington which made it super easy to get anywhere rather fast. Our host was so prompt to respond if we needed anything and always followed up to make sure all was well. We’ll definitely be coming back again and plan on staying in the gem of a property.

Beautiful, modern flat in convenient location
The flat was perfect for our family of 4. It is well appointed and beautifully decorated. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms are modern. Amazing location to explore London
What a great spot to stay. You’re very near one of the best train stations in London, Paddington. It’s amazingly convenient where you don’t have to transfer lines most often. The neighborhood itself is really charming, with beautiful canals to have brunches/breakfast in. The local pub has an ale engine which for an American was super different. Highly recommended place. Loved the modern appliances and quiet even though it’s so close to everything. You can’t go wrong with this as a base in London.

Apartment very functional and has some nice touches. Whoever designed it had a nice eye. Also, loft gives you room to spread out a bit. Steps away from Paddington - so great transport hub and close to Hyde park - so convenient if you want to amble to your location. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Excellent London Location. Steps from Paddington. Very Quiet
We searched high and low for a good place to stay in London and found it with this artist's hideawy. Hideway is a GREAT word for it as you can easily miss the entrance to the buiilding, and we actually passed it the first time. It's in a mews, so it's a converted building that I guess houses cars or horses back in the day. You enter one door and go up a winding staircase to the 1st floor (second floor to Americans). Flat 3 is just down the short hall. The flat was wonderfully renovated and is absolutely stunning for a London stay. You get two lovely bedrooms, one with private bath and an additional hall bath. The kithcen is enormous for an apartment of this size and has a full sized fridge. The living room has stunning neighborhood views through the generous "two story' windows. The loft space is great for reading a book. The washer AND dryer are a hugh plus as many places rely on clothlines to get clothese dry. Each bath had heated floors and heated towel racks. The beds were very comfy. Host notified us that there is construction goin on around the building, but htey stop around 5 or so each night, and as we were leaving to walk the city each morning, it was never a both. The location is absolutely perfect. You go down a short alley and you are at Paddington Stationa and can catch a train, a bus, the tube or a cab. Go down one of the alleys and out, and there are a half dozen restauranta (all wonderful) at your disposal. There was plenty of closet space. We used the washer and dryer a lot as this was the second half of our trip, and it's so nice having both in the unit. I wouldn't hesitate to book this location. You won't regret it when, after a long day of sightseeing, you simply catch a tube to Paddington, and 5 mintues later, you're in your flat.
