"We booked two float homes for a group of 7 people: 1 grandma, two parents, 21yo daughter and fiancé, and 17 and 13 year olds plus two dogs. Adults in the yellow house, kids in the green. What a great time we had, just us, the ocean, the other float home guests who were friendly, and the birds and seals. These places are rustic but so lovely. "Very warm and welcoming unit. Everything was spotless with three large bedrooms. Kitchen was big and well stocked with everything we needed for making food. For a shared property it still felt very private and secluded. Would return!"

"This was a perfect cottage for our 6 night stay with family. It was impeccably clean & quite spacious. It has a 2 great outdoor spaces! (Fire pit with lovely chairs & ample firewood as well as a nice patio table on the deck). The couches were super comfy too. Sunsets were only a 12 minute walk away. We will beback!"

"We booked two float homes and loved every minute. Pearl was easy to communicate with and quick to answer questions. This was a rustic relaxing vacation. The float homes didn’t rock as crazy as I would have liked because Strawberry Island is on the inlet side of the ocean but they certainly rocked gently here and there. Cooking and heat are via propane but the houses have electricity and city water which tasted divine right out of the tap! The properties are dog friendly but don’t stink at all....

"Pretty much exactly as advertised. We had two adults and two teens, and were comfortable, but are also accustomed to sharing close quarters, so wouldn’t be for everyone. For two, it’s spacious by tiny home standards. If you’re looking to eat in for all of your meals, it’s less than ideal - very little kitchen space, and not well stocked for cooking. But fine for breakfast and lunch. Nowhere to eat though other than lined up on the day bed (in rainy season anyway). Tofino has great food options...

"Easy check-in, they upgraded our room to a suite I believe. The only issue is that the way the suite is designed. There is a second floor loft but the stairs are located above the bed in the next room. So we got to listen to the neighbours running up and down the stairs at least 10 times over the night. "
