"The apartment was lovely and well appointed, the beds comfortable and everything was very clean. Our main complaint was there was no communication beforehand with the instructions on how to access the building and the apartment. We arrived on a Saturday, the contact phone number was only for office hours and the out of hours number on the message was incorrect, missing a digit. We found another out of hours number to call and could only leave a message. Finally someone called but not before...

"A little out of town but that suited me perfectly for the reason I was there. The setting and gardens are beautiful and the rooms are lovely. Quiet, clean and well equipped. If traveling with a dog there is a specified, fenced, off lead area which is just fantastic. This was my third stay and I will definitely stay again."

"Property had a bizarre bathroom set up. The toilet was in a separate room with no sink to wash one's hands after nature had called. We had to walk over to the opposite side of the apartment to a different room that had a shower and sink in it. This was very inconvenient and obviously not very sanitary. Apartment was cold and took quite a while to heat up. Luckily we are used to heat pumps so we understood this. Parking is only good for a smaller car. Our rental fit in without issue (Ford Puma)...

"The only reason I am marking this down is because there was a grand total of the kitchen. There were no sponges, tea towels or dishwashing supplies. There wasn't a full set of cooking equipment so it was difficult to cook for a group. The plates, glassware, mugs and cutlery etc. were cheap and unmatched. " Here’s a polished and more fluid version of your review: We were dropped off right at the doorstep by the airport shuttle in central Dunedin, which was so convenient. The hotel kindly stored our bags while we explored, and we popped into Maggie’s, one of the many charming cafes surrounding the area. Our room was lovely—tucked up in the eaves, it featured a large, comfortable bed, hot drink facilities, and a gorgeous ensuite complete with luxurious toiletries and fluffy towels. For dinner, we headed to the Octagon, a perfect spot with its many bars and restaurants. We enjoyed a delicious meal and a relaxing drink in this vibrant setting, just a short walk from the hotel. When we returned, we closed the skylight, making the room so dark and cozy that we slept for hours—absolutely perfect! For this price point, it was an excellent experience overall."
