"We had a lovely week here in August. The pool was great for the kids and the peace, quiet and lovely wine was great for the adults. The village is a nice setting and also very quiet this time of year but the local town of Bar-sur-Aube had everything we needed. Location is great with the theme park of Nigloland just 15 minutes away and the wonderful town of Troyes also near for a change of scenery. "Le gîte Chez Marcel se situe dans un village de l'aube. La localisation nous a permis de visiter les environs (Troyes, forêt d'orient, Nigloland et autres villages/châteaux). La maison nous a semblé plus grande que sur les photos, au calme avec vue sur les vignes de champagne. Ça reste une maison de campagne donc une souris était rentré dans la maison pendant notre séjour. Le village n'est pas des plus vivant à part les viticulteurs ! On a tout de même bien profité."

"The whole group really enjoyed staying here for a week in August. There was plenty of parking in the front courtyard. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable. "Superbly located property in easy walking distance of Bar sur Aube. Ideally situated within walking distance of at least 4 champagne houses. If you love Champagne this is the place for you. The property was more than ideal for the two of us with plenty of space to spread out; including on a beautifully appointed terrace. Great to have access to a bbq. The rooms are very clean, there is lots of parking and although I could not have dinner there as we arrived too late, I have heard from family that the food is great.
