"Beautiful spot to just sit back and relax after spending a week in very busy Rome. San Lucido is definitely a “hidden gem” in Calabria. We had both dinner and breakfast in the “sun room”. The food was excellent and the service top notch. The owner goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need. Loved everything about our stay."

"My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon, and it was such a special part of our trip! Antonio was incredibly generous and kind, not only did he pick us up from the train station upon arrival, but he also drove us to the airport to get a rental car when our original plan fell through. His wife even baked a beautiful dessert for us! The property is absolutely gorgeous and staying there felt like a dream. I have never encountered such amazing hospitality at any other rental. "Nice little hotel and great bakery. I was a little concerned when we drove up but don’t let the exterior deter you. They are doing some renovations but it did not impact our stay at all. We had three rooms in the renovated area. Excellent showers good water pressure excellent air-conditioning excellent bedding. Added to that they have a wonderful bakery downstairs with fresh croissants. "
