"Wir (vier Erwachsene) hatten einen sehr guten Aufenthalt. Die Kommunikation mit Gites des Aube sowie mit der Verwalterin Julie waren einwandfrei und freundlich. Julie ging auch auf alle Fragen unsererseits ein. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen am Ende des kleinen Orts Ruvigny. In Ruvigny gibt es selbst keine Versorgungsmöglichkeiten, aber die nächsten sehr gut ausgestatten Supermärkte (E.Leclerc) sind nur sieben Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Die Außenanlage und der Garten sind sehr gepflegt...

Hôtel Restaurant & Spa LE VAL MORET

10/10 Excellent

"We (retired Brit couple) have stayed at Val Moret many times over 20 years or so. Dinner at the restaurant is always a highlight and the most recently acquired chef has increased the already delicious standards. Rooms are clean and comfortable, all one needs for a night’s journey stopover. (I suspect few people book a week’s holiday here but a few nights would be entirely reasonable). During 2025 there are building works progressing toward enlargement of the restaurant and reception. The work isn’t at all disruptive or intrusive, particularly for rooms further away. If the end result enhances the bar area that will be a great improvement, as the existing bar facilities are about the only thing that let the place down currently. We haven’t used the spa but it looks good. Finally, credit must be given to famille Marisy (and particularly to Mme, who apparently never sleeps) who work tirelessly for the comfort of their guests. It’s really good to see a family business thriving in this ever increasingly conglomerate dominated industry."

Lovely friendly couple who have turned their 19c priory into a b & b, retaining all the character and architecture of the period, as well as the furniture. Good bathroom facilities and good value for money. The surrounding rural area is stunning. "

"Room was like a dormitory! Very dated facilities that are in need of modernisation. Very expensive for what it is. Disappointed that the swimming pool was not open - it was not noted on the website about being closed over winter. Also disappointed that as guests we would have to pay €6 per person for the mini golf - extortionate price. Good meal at the restaurant though."

"A premiere classe is cheap and cheerful. The rooms are tiny but if all you want is a cheap bed for the night it is perfect. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room clean. The restaurant d’horlorge serves lovely food but will cost you as much each as the hotel room. "
