"Good facilities, good size for 6 people supermarket 5 minute walk away. Spa and pool excellent the kids loved it, well equipped kitchen. The only problem was the smoke detectors are very sensitive, there's one on the bathroom which was triggered by steam from the shower and one was set off by spray deodorant, so security show up and say there's a problem and you have to open the balcony door, not ideal in winter. Overall a good stay."

"Great location for our visit to Bruges and Plopsaland. Accommodation was perfect for us. Plenty of room etc, we didn't cook anything but there was plenty of equipment there if you wanted to. It was in a quiet area when we visited in February and we went out to find dinner but didn't have any luck but noticed the Ibis hotel next door did do some food, pizza etc. Also the use of the pool and sauna etc at the Ibis was great. "

"No towels… must rent them. No hand soap in bathroom or kitchen. Bed is not made must make it yourself. Dead bugs on floor. Hallway area was run down and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We paid extra for an ocean view room and did have a great view and overall felt relatively safe. "

"The place was clean, and the heating was excellent during our stay ( winter time ). The car park is excellent too. It is basically right next to our accommodation. We will definitely come back and use this accommodation again. Highly recommended!"

"Spacious (Marquis) lots of space for 3 people. Very close walk to everything. Staff very friendly and helpful. Kitchen is well appointed although we ended up only doing breakfasts in our room. Dining room table is large and good for playing cards (seats at least 6 people). Only knock was couch was ok but could have been a little more comfortable- maybe just add some cushions. Had elevator which was nice vs carrying luggage up 3 flights. "

"My wife and I stayed here with our grandchildren we all loved it. Plenty of room and 3 balconies. Very comfy beds and nice sized bedrooms. Only Downside is the steep stairs and the toilet is downstairs so going to the loo on a night is a bit of a problem but apart from that everything was good. Very near to the beach and restaurants and very good Baker. Bonus 2 bicycles for your use, excellent for the trip to the bakery"

Host had included some welcome treats, including a bottle of champagne and Belgian chocolates.. and Christmas decorations as we celebrated Christmas here. Fully equipped kitchen, heating and comfy beds meant a great stay. We used the cottage as a base for exploring the area and it was great- the beachfront at De Haan was beautiful and easy access to Ghent and Bruges… Great communication and check out procedure… Thanks so much...

"I had a few days to spend and found this suite to be excellent value and much more homey than a hotel room. Wifi was perfect, so I could work, and the sea a short walk away. The management was excellent to deal with and it was an enjoyable four-day break."

We had everything within the apartment that we needed for our 2 nights of stay - comfortable beds, kitchen appliances/utensils (no conventional oven), storage. All the street parking were paid parking during the weekends (just to be mindful of this if you are staying during weekends). We parked behind the apartment in a street for around 10 EUR for the whole day. There is a lovely...
