"Mrs. Ursula was fantastic when we had a small issue we had to deal with..The home was VERY well stocked for us..She thought of everything! All in our group were very happy with the home..Wifi was a bit slow, but we weren't there for that..lol! Recommend to those visiting for the Louisiana Renaissance Fest..short 18 minute drive.. "

"Loved the rental! They had everything you could want. We were in town for a soccer tournament and didn’t get to spend a ton of time at the cottage. The pool was great, even though it was cold. After a long day in the heat a polar plunge was just what we needed. Will stay here again, even for a little staycation "

"Clean and comfortable place. Very close to the university. Loved all the extras that the owners have (dart board, ping pong, pool table). Will definitely look to stay at this place again."

"Loved the vibe. Very cute and cozy. Would not recommend to tall people though unless you want to bend in the shower lol I’m 5’10 and the shower head was probably 3 inches shorter than me. Other than that very nice stay."

"We thoroughly enjoyed a recent girls getaway! The house had everything we needed, super quiet neighborhood, very quaint! Rhonda was easy to communicate with and very helpful about things to do nearby! We all agreed we will return for another stay! "

"This location was within an hour of our hometown. Secluded and hidden away deep in the woods just like we expected. The layout of this home was exceptional. Two bedrooms with two baths. We are seniors so we didn't take advantage of the creek on the property. If you have children they'll love it ! There are endless kitchen utensils for every cook every type of meal. "My 11 yr old granddaughter saw this listing and begged to stay “at the castle house”. The “castle” is a unique, one of a kind 3 story house, at the end of a trail through the woods. Please be aware that the dirt road and narrow trail to the house might not be suited for small cars. (We have a full sized truck.) "There was trash still in our room from previous guests. The toilet was so shaky every time you sat on it, thought it was going to fall over. This really is a niche property where I'd only stay here for an event because everything is so far away from it. Events are also very loud from the villas if you're not attending the event."
