"This place isn't the Hilton BUT it is a great, honest, clean and convenient place for anyone looking to stay. The staff left you alone but were available if needed, the location is amazing, the noise is minimal and the rooms are comfortable and homely. We would happily stay here again if we return to Lorne. "The property is on Great Ocean Road in the heart of the Lorne beachfront. It has easy access to restaurants, shopping, and the ocean. Surprisingly, it is quiet after 9:30 p.m. in January—a very family-friendly area. The staff at the motel were very friendly. The room was spacious, with added touches of silverware and real wine glasses. The finishings were a little tired but it did not detract from the comfort of our stay. "

"A friendly welcome from the owners on arrival was the start of a magical stay. The views were completely breathtaking and the cottage was quaint with so many homely touches.
