"Not as nice as the price and description led us to believe. Breakfast was okay, good croissant cut otherwise a bit ordinary. The room was fresh and clean but lacked in storage space so if one was staying more than a day, there was no drawer space for one to unpack. Poor water pressure in the shower. Hosts are very pleasant/amenable! Would not stay there again for the price. "

"A friendly welcome from the owners on arrival was the start of a magical stay. The views were completely breathtaking and the cottage was quaint with so many homely touches. The entire property was spotless and the wildlife made me want to live here. I kept thinking I was so lucky to be staying here instead of in the centre of chaos in town. This felt like a real holiday. Thank you to Liz and Ray."

"The property is on Great Ocean Road in the heart of the Lorne beachfront. It has easy access to restaurants, shopping, and the ocean. Surprisingly, it is quiet after 9:30 p.m. in January—a very family-friendly area. The staff at the motel were very friendly. The room was spacious, with added touches of silverware and real wine glasses. The finishings were a little tired but it did not detract from the comfort of our stay. "
