The only downside if you’re there on a weekend is the noise outside from partying students. Don’t let that deter you though—that’s what earplugs are for! I’d definitely book this again. "The online checkin app didn’t work but the owner did respond quickly on WhatsApp. This property is in a historic building on the fourth floor and there is no elevator. Street parking was difficult to find. We happened to be there on a Saturday and street parking is free Saturday and Sunday. The room/ kitchen is a good layout and surprisingly has a lot of storage for a small space. Appeared to be very residential and I didn’t see a lot of restaurants and shops. "

"We enjoyed our stay here very much! The appartement is huge, equipped with everything you need and it is in a very quiet location. It is ideal for making different excursions as to Istria or the island Krk or to one of the nice beaches. Big recommendation for this friendly host! "

"Ideal für große Familien oder Kleingruppen - durch die Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad eine hohe Privatsphäre. Der Pool bietet ganztägigen Sonnenanbetern alles was sie brauchen. Die Ausstattung des Objektes ist grossartig. Der Eigentümer wohnt in Rijeka und ist sehr hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Minuten an den schönen Stränden von Opatja - Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants direkt in der Nähe - frische Brötchen gibt’s direkt in Matulji - herrlich."

"Good comfortable home for 4 people. Well equipped kitchen and the shower was exceptionally good with great pressure and hot water. Nice location and very good comunication with the host. Beds were not too bad. Great television and also adequate seating outside,we used the porch area that was lovely. "15 minute walk from bus station easy through mall. Were given instructions with codes to get in front door then apartment 1 on first floor. The apartment was spacious and bright. It was at the end of the mall on the corner facing the inlet with moored boats. Full kitchen but no microwave. Bathroom was on small side. Close to everything very central. Our host was helpful. Very comfortable stay"

"The beds are very good, very clean and good linens and towels. There was nothing “dreamy” about this suite, the bedroom windows were one meter away from a busy street with the noise 24/7. Inconvenient the two steps up to the kitchen. Kitchen was supplied with two old unusable rusty cooking pots, the patio was unusable because a vicious annoying barking dog. "

Charming and great staff

"The staff was fantastic. It was all very newly renovated and so charming . The location was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It did have many steps which may not work for elderly or disabled, however staff carried luggage for us. They were wonderful and I definitely enjoy this place again !"

"Wow the views from the balcony room were totally amazing! Hotel is very well situated right on the promenade and a friendly staff offered to park car at an off site location ! Comfortable and well maintained rooms . Didn't use pool and sauna but are available! Breakfast was served in the restaurant and was good ! Highly recommend! "
