"Absolutely loved this pod. Stayed as family 2 ad and 2 ch. Place was soo clean on arrival and soo well layed out. Bathroom was far bigger than you would think with lovely white towels and complimentary toiletries. Bunk beds were fab, kids loved them and plenty of room in the bottom one for a tall 11 yo. The murphy bed was amazing , it just appears from the wall and is most definitely one of the comfiest beds i have slept in. Surrounded by fields with cows for neighbours and alpacas and chicken's...

"I recently stayed at Cromore Retreat in Portstewart and loved every minute. The dome accommodation was cosy and unique, offering stunning views that made it feel extra special. Plus, being just minutes from the port added to its charm. Highly recommended for a refreshing getaway!"

However the towels provided were unusable- just need new cleans ones, these were really old and very smelly. Duvet in main bedroom yellow, really off putting. I think with some attention to bedding and towels and bathroom would make the world of difference but also...

"We had a wonderful stay at the property! We had stayed as the house previously years ago and it was honestly even better than I remembered- the views and space from the upstairs living area really are stunning. There is plenty of space for a large group and the location is great. The owner is lovely and communication is fantastic. We will Most certainly be back, thanks for a lovely stay."

A note to help others is the town closes at around 4:30pm so you will have to go to the next town over to find a restaurant that is open. You will need to have a reservation because they fill up fast and the to-go food places are cash only."

"Fantastic property with fantastic hosts who couldn't do enough for us. Even the poor weather did not take away from a great couple of days in a prime spot with excellent accommodation. 5 star treatment and everything you could think would be required was taken into account by the hosts. All round excellent."

"We had a lovely family weekend in Forestside House. It was very clean and well located. It sleeps 16 but the dining and seating accommodation does not cater for 16. We were 10 and could eat together but not sit and relax together. The dining table and a couple of chairs were not very stable. One of the oven doors was broken and a couple of cooker rings were not working. This made cooking for a large number challenging. We are unlikely to stay here again."
