"We chose this cottage in the country to experience the local towns, people, the food, & history. We rented a car & used the cottage as base. Each day we drove to a different castle or locale.Even the Cliffs of Moher was a day trip. Roscrea village was close for groceries. Denise & Joe were very friendly, helpful, kind, & wonderful hosts. Loved all the decor, books, location & Denise’s Irish soda bread was YUMMY! Highly recommend. Debbi & Perry"

"This little apartment was wonderful - cozy, clean and well-appointed with everything you could want or need and spacious enough to really spread out. By American standards the bathrooms are great and there was a king-sized bed! We really appreciated being able to do some laundry. "Wow! What a place. The pictures on the listing looked pretty incredible, and in person was even better! My family and I loved the castle. I think the location was great, in that we were able to take day trips and see a number of places on our list (Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle, Blarney Stone, Cliffs of Moher, Kilkenny, Kinsale, Killarney, Dublin).
