Beautiful room and very comfortable bed. Quiet oasis in an area of Chicago that is usually pretty loud. Only thing missing from what would have been a perfect stay is a dimmer switch in the bathroom which was a minor annoyance.

Poor experience. Fire alarm went off in my room while I was getting ready for a wedding—made me late as I had to wait for staff to shut off the old, defective system. Arrival was chaotic—porte-cochère blocked, no greeter or valet. After circling 3 times, valet refused service and told me to park in another building. I was unloading in the rain and was told “you can’t park there.” Not what I expected at this level of hotel.
