"My stay at the Dlacemakr Dupont Circle met all of my needs. It was a great find for downtown DC - comparable quality to higher-end hotels but at a lower price point. I stayed in a studio, and I appreciated the kitchenette and extra room to spread out in the comfortable TV/sitting area. Check-in was a breeze with the access code texted to me the day of my stay. "The staff is responsive and kind.This hotel is hit or miss in terms of rooms. It is an older hotel, and some rooms are lovely. All rooms are nicely decorated. Some of the rooms in various annexes are very small or remote. Temperature control is highly unpredictable (very hot or very cold with inability to control). "Hotel Convenent Review I recently stayed at Royal Sonesta and had an overall pleasant experience. The location is incredibly convenient, being close to the metro train station, making it easy to get around the city. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, which was a big plus. The rooms were clean and spacious, offering a comfortable environment to unwind after a busy day. The front desk staff stood out for their friendliness and accommodating attitude, always ready to assist with any requests. The only downside was the bed, which was much too soft for my liking. I found myself sinking into the mattress, which made it difficult to get comfortable and led to a restless night’s sleep. Despite the issue with the bed, I would still recommend Royal Sonesta for its prime location, great service, and clean accommodations. Just be mindful if you prefer a firmer mattress!"
