"A lovely stay, and the staff could not possibly be nicer or more helpful. This is a historic property that forms its own compound in the heart of the pleasant village of Azay-le-Rideau. The hotel is a short walk from one of the most splendid of the Loire chateaux, and is aso centrally located for daytrips throughout the region. Our room was large and comfortable, if a bit sparsely furnished. The bathroom was quite new, modern, and well-fitted out. We'd happily have stayed longer."

"This was a lovely hotel with staff who were so friendly and helpful. It is a short walk from Villandry chateau, but was still very peaceful and quiet. They offer beautiful food for breakfast and dinner, which is extra, but was delicious and all locally sourced. This place was a real gem. "
