"Casa Beatrice is a sophisticated and elegant new apartment, whose renovation just ended in March 2018.
It includes a total surface of 140 square meters (about 1.500 square feet), with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
It spreads over a single floor with particularly large and very bright rooms.
The furniture and decor have been studied down to every detail by the owner herself, who is an interior designer. In this apartment, she committed to offer not only a remarkable refinement but also the maximum comfort.
Casa Beatrice is equipped with double-glass windows, air conditioning in the three bedrooms and in the living / dining room, Wi-Fi, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, hair dryers in all bedrooms and many other small appliances. The heating system is independent.
In addition, this house also has a private, outdoor fenced area with garden, gazebo and parking for 2/3 cars. The location is particularly ideal as it is almost like being in the old city center, which can be reached in 5 minutes on foot, but with the great convenience of the garden with private parking.
Relaxing and romantic, Casa Beatrice is undoubtedly the perfect home to complete a unique and unforgettable experience in Lucca.
Lay-out
The apartment has a large entrance which leads to the living area furnished with sofas and 42-inch satellite TV. The dining room is connected to the living room through an arch and has a table for 8 people.
The modern kitchen is large in size and has a dining table for 6 people.
The corridor leads to two large double bedrooms with direct access to the bathroom, a third bedroom with 2 single beds, which , on request, can become a double bed, whose respective bathroom can be accessed from the hallway door.
Last but not least, there are 2 comfortable terraces, a smaller one with access from the kitchen, and a larger one with access from the living room, furnished with a tea table and chairs.
The apartment is on the second and last floor of a quiet building and is accessed through a large private staircase with very low steps, especially designed to be particularly delicate.
The lucky feature of this house is that the other apartment with which it should share both the garden and the entrance area is owned by the same owners and is not used.
Outside there is a gazebo with a comfortable sofa and garden chairs that invite you for a relaxing break.
Location
Casa Beatrice is located in a secondary road with access from the ring-road of the city of Lucca, therefore more secluded from the areas of greater traffic.
You can reach Porta Elisa by foot in 5 minutes. That is one of the 4 main gates of the ancient walls, through which you can enter the historic center.
This gate takes its name from Elisa Bonaparte, sister of Napoleon and Duchess of Lucca, and faces the east side of Lucca.
The railway station is located about 600 meters from the house, and it is reachable via a pleasant path around the walls, easy to walk even on foot. There is also a convenient and frequent shuttle bus service.
Local pizzeria-brewery 50 meters down the road, with excellent pizza.
Restaurant 100 meters away with good quality seafood specialties.
Finally, I would like to conclude encouraging tourists to choose Lucca as a destination for their holidays, not only because it is a beautiful city, rich in history and with medieval walls that are unique in the world for their grandeur and more, but also for the city's privileged position to discover other beauties of Tuscany.
Pisa is just 20 km away and Florence about 70 km (45 minutes by motorway). Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra are 1 hour and 40 minutes away by car.
To get to beautiful Cinque Terre it's only a one hour drive.
Just thirty minutes by car you can reach the coast; that is the area where the province of Lucca is washed by the Tyrrhenian Sea. This is certainly a very beautiful coastal area, born in the early 1900s and rich in Art Nouveau architecture. The beach is very wide with thin sand that slides gently into the sea.
Heading towards the mountainous area of Lucca you will encounter the famous villages of the Garfagnana, also very popular with visitors."
