"The tower was absolutely beautiful and very unique, the craftsmanship was phenomenal and it was a lovely place to stay for a night. Unfortunately we didn't use the pool or other facilities but the owner Louise was very nice and the menu offered sounded delicious, although I ended up just getting some fresh eggs from the chickens on the grounds. It seemed really well situated and all in all we couldn't fault it, although my one comment would be that a small air conditioner upstairs would be...

"A charming and well equipped house in a beautiful and peaceful village. We loved getting fresh croissants from the bakery in the morning, and sitting on the terrace as the sun set after a busy day sightseeing in the surrounding towns and countryside. "We spent a wonderful week here this summer with our two young children. The location of the cabin is excellent, with a descent super market in the village, petrol station, golf club and a few bars. There are many beautiful villages within 20 minutes drive with restaurants and bars. 10 mins drive is a lovely lake which we swam in as well as hired a kayak, perfect when the temperature was 30 degrees! Also there’s a climbing/forest activity which we spent the whole day at less than 10 minutes away...

"We wanted for nothing in this property, everything was provided. It was in a huge, secluded garden, but the property was separate, and a long way from the main house, so we didn't feel enclosed in any way. We sat/ate outside a lot of the time, and felt that we were a long way from the main house. Samur-en-Auxois was everything we thought it was, and François Meunieur was extremely helpful. 10/10!"
