"The house was small and just the size we needed. Check in was at 4 but it was closer to 4:15 by the time we got in. Landscapers were there and left a huge pile of leaves that blocked the entire front of the house. Had to park next door the entire weekend. Part if the reason for choosing this location was the fireplace option since its January and cold at night. There was no firewood available to use as stated in the post. Other than those 2 things the stay was great. Id recommended a few more...

"Dad's rustic cabin was a welcome secluded, quiet stay while still close enough to Kerrville and Fredericksburg. Unfortunately the day we chose to visit the Pacific War museum was the only day of the week it was closed (Tuesday). Be sure to screen shot directions or write them down. GPS and cell service is spotty, but worth the drive. "

"The cabin was very cozy and rustic! Awesome place to stay if you want to feel like you stepped back in time, but still enjoy some of today's comforts. The bathroom shower was a little cramped for me at 6'2" and there was street noise at night, but it was Friday night. I would definitely stay here again, though!
