"Wie der Titel sagt, im Nirgendwo. Die Lage am Waldrand ist für Wanderungen optimal. Viel Wald und sehr schöne Landschaft. Allerdings gibt es sehr wenige Gastwirtschaften zum einkehren bzw. vorhandene sind geschlossen. Im Ort selbst gibt es gar nichts, nicht mal einen Bäcker. Die Unterkunft ist alt und eng, wie halt vor hundert Jahren gebaut wurde. Es ist sauber. Wir waren zu sechst, bei 8 Personen wird die Luft dünn. Die steile Treppe ohne Geländer ins untere Bad bzw. zur Terrasse ist vor allem...

Would also have liked to see homemade jam instead of high glucose factory stuff as an extra touch at breakfast. Blackout curtains worked and bathroom was modern and spacious. Would definitely stay again. "

"I chose this hotel due to its idyllic look & since I was traveling with 4 colleagues, they all booked here too. On arrival, found out you don’t stay in the schloss, rather a very unattractive side building, freezing cold, tiny room. The restaurant was closed, another reason I had chosen this hotel was because it had a restaurant, nobody told us it would be closed. Very poor. The service was friendly at breakfast & that’s my reason for ranking this at okay. The lady was lovely & made our start to each day a pleasant one ."

Staff lovely in the hotel. Spoke good English for restricted German speakers. Comfort Room spacious and clean. Little terrace with outside seating. Great views. No sound issues from rooms next door or above (we were ground floor). Great shower! But no tea/coffee facilities in room. The usual wonderful buffet breakfast. Adequate evening meal but then chose to eat out in the evening for the other two nights; wanted to experience more. Didn’t use Spa or swimming pool; too much to do and see elsewhere in the vicinity to include in our three night stay. "

"The spa, gym, and lake views are excellent. The hotel has a very 90's feel and no room service (this was a bummer as we had a lake view room and wanted to stay in and relax). The beirgarten by the water has excellent food, although it closes at 930pm (as does the only restaurant on site (a buffet). The place was comfortable for 1 dayx the lake location and sauna were exactly what we wanted"
