Log Cabin - Lake Pauline Waterfront - 2 Miles To Okemo Mountain/Jackson Gore

This rustic, cozy little cabin sits on Lake Pauline, approximately 2 miles from Okemo Mountain (Jackson Gore), on a dead-end road. You are close to everything but feel like you are away from it all! Lake Pauline is a 'quiet' lake, with fishing, swimming, canoes & kayaks allowed - no motor boats. There are kayaks, a canoe, and life vests at the cabin, with plenty of rental options close by. The cabin has 2 bedrooms on the main floor that contain full sized beds and a loft containing 4 twin beds. There are (2) full baths on the main floor and in the heated, walk-out basement, both w/ walk-in showers. There is wood burning fireplace and streaming tv in the main room and a tv/dvd combo in the loft. The kitchen has full-sized appliances and is stocked with the necessities, the table is expandable to seat 8. Washer/Dryer in the basement & secure wifi internet access. Outside there is a grill, deck, firepit & dock.

Cute Cabin, Great Location
We stayed here for a trip to Okemo. Only a 5-10 minute drive to the mountain and dining options in Ludlow. Two people in our group didn’t ski but they enjoyed relaxing at the cabin. It was cute and cozy. The property was clean and had all the basic necessities. The host was very easy to communicate with through the entire process. Would definitely stay there again!

Great clean house, excellent location
We enjoyed our six day stay near Okemo mountain. A very short drive to the mountain, cozy house, has everything one might need. Kids had a blast in their own bedroom upstairs, adults loved a chance to unwind after skiing with Netflix and scrabble.

A wonderful stay with everything that you need
We had an amazing stay at Kim's log cabin home. The bedrooms were cozy with comfortable beds, the kitchen was very well stocked with all the appliances, pots, pans, spices and condiments you needed to make a nice meal. The house has been completely renovated and is water front. We loved walking up to the lovely calm lake in the morning and the neighborhood was so quiet. The house is so close to Jackson Gore that we will definitely rent the home again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Outstanding visit to SHEPHERD's Cabin
My family totally enjoyed our weekend at the cabin. The home is complete with every amenity and convenience, and is spotless. My first time staying in a log cabin which I always wanted to do. I would highly recommend Shepherd's Cabin. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Ski trip to Okemo with family & friends.
Five adults and three teenagers enjoyed staying at the Lake Pauline Waterfront! The view from the porch was beautiful and we loved sitting by the fireplace at the end of the day. The property was well stocked with everything and all you need to do is bring food to eat. Being 2 miles from Jackson Gore was a bonus!

Very Nice, Cozy Cabin!
The owners were so accommodating, and when we arrived everything was exactly as we expected it to be. The house was very clean and had everything that we needed. We stayed for two nights to ski at Okemo and loved the area! We had a group of 8 and found the cabin to be cozy, but spacious enough. We would definitely return!

The cabin was exactly how described, the place was very clean and neat.
My two college age children and myself spent 4 nights at the cabin. We skied Okemo 3 days. The place is very convenient to the resort and we had everything we needed to fix meals and relax in the evening. The fireplace provided a cozy setting for after ski family time. All the linens are top notch and beds are comfy. We would definitely go back.

Great location
Very clean and comfortable cabin. It was easy to get to yet gave us the "in the woods" feel we were looking for. We really enjoyed the fireplace and the kitchen was well supplied. The location was great for hiking, skiing and going into town. The owner/manager was prompt with all communication. The heat was good and the cabin seemed very well insulated. We had one very windy day and inside was cozy and quiet. We would recommend this property.

Perfect stay! Would book again. Cute, intimate cabin. Super close to Jackson Gore and the mountain. Beautiful, private grounds on a dead end street. Property was well appointed, everything you need. Very clean and comfy. There is no dishwasher so bring your own disposable plates/cups for convenience. The fireplace was nice to cozy up to - though we never could get it to a full roar for some reason. Our trip companion mentioned one of the beds was not firm enough for him and there was no use of the dresser due to every drawer having owner's clothes - minor issue - but otherwise, everything was excellent.

Perfect home
We had a wonderful time in your home. It is a perfect size for two families, and was stocked with everything we needed. Super close to the mountain for skiing, and to town for groceries or whatever, but in a lovely quiet location by the lake. The water pressure in the showers were amazing, the beds are super comfortable (it's the little things that make such a huge difference), and the fireplace was delightful. Thank you so much for being the best communicator and perfectly lovely host.

Beyond Perfect!
I'm so embarrassed (and honestly very sorry) to say it has taken me this long to write a review on this trip. Maybe it's the dreadful NY winter weather that's making me remember ;) This "cabin" was everything and more that we had hoped for. It had every accommodation we needed and then some. The additional water "toys" our girls called them were such a big bonus. It was quiet, relaxing and most importantly CLEAN and SAFE!!! Our young girls said this was by far their best vacation, ever!!! They loved having the loft to themselves where they could play board games and "girl talk" themselves to sleep every night. The owner communication prior and after the trip was awesome, too. There was information on restaurants, day trips/adventures provided in the cabin and ready for our use. The kitchen was fully stocked with every pot/pan and staple spices we needed. All appliances were totally up to date too which made cooking a breeze! This cabin rental was just perfect and HIGHLY recommended. As a family of 4 we also appreciated that the owners allowed us to give our girls an amazing vacation without breaking the bank. Thank you for pricing your cabin reasonably and providing us with so much. We look forward to hopefully ( fingers crossed) renting again this summer. Happy New Year!!!!
