"The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. I found the bed to be comfortable and the continental breakfast fitting for a small town hotel. Would definitely stay again!"

Cabin on peaceful soo lake, phillips wi. Enjoy waking up in the great northwood
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great time! We were originally planning to go tent camping and due to thunderstorms in the forecast we canceled that reservation and found this cabin available. We are SO glad we did! The cabin is small but very much everything we needed. Yes there were cobwebs and spiders and the cabin is not fully updated but truthfully, I believe if it was - the charm would be lost! I believe the owners live across the way in a home on the property and they were kind enough to provide us with dry firewood, kindling, and coals from their own fire so that we could enjoy a fire with our kids to have s’mores. Staying here has put a strong desire in me to buy our own cabin someday with similar esthetics. Until that day - we will continue to book here in the future! So thankful for the hospitality! "
Rustic cabin getaway on the shore of Soo Lake in Phillips, WI
10/10 Excellent
"Despite the record heat, the AC kept the cabin cool and the lake was a great way to cool off outside. Loved the historic but well equipped kitchen. The only comment would be there is no internet or cell service. But for me that is a plus."
"Not only is this a spacious house but the yard is extremely large and the lake is directly across the street. This house could easily sleep 10 to 12 people as there is a convertible chair in the upstairs Big bedroom, a huge sectional and side chairs with ottoman. The basement family rooms' couch is also a futon. My only disappointment were the basic supplies; refrigerator, it was completely empty (no butter, or condiments) no ice or ice maker in the freezer. I bought what I needed (including coffee) so it wasn't too bad. They supplied fire wood and some outdoor chairs and the fire ring was a nice plus. Charcoal grill, but it was kinda dirty and some previous guest had dumped their dirty ashtray and cigarette butts in the can that had the charcoal. - I hate dealing with that nastiness so we did not use the grill at all. Overall, I would stay here again as we have family that just moved to the area. We had plenty of room to play games and hang out. "
