Staff was very helpful and friendly. There was one hand towel in the room I had to go to the desk to ask for bath towels wash cloths and a floor mat. The directions to the ice machine we wrong. They were to the rear of the 1st floor when the ice machine was in fact on the 2nd floor at the front of the building. I don't find it until the 2nd day.

The refrigerator wasnt working i mentioned it and no one showed up. The breakfast menu only consists of waffles and coffee. The staff was very inviting.

Smelt like mold

The rooms smelt like mold and the bathroom was in horrendous condition. The hallways leading to the room was dirty and stained. The only positive was the front desk was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was adequate.

This hotel is in terrible condition and appears to have extensive flood damage. Several electrical outlets and the TV in our room didn’t work, at least two security doors (access by room key) were broken, and the smell of mildew was everywhere. The room was cleaned and appeared to have newer vinyl flooring and paint, but you could see water damage on the doors and in the hallways. Hallway carpets were so filthy it was gross, and the pool was unusable. It was unclear if the A/C was working in the reception and breakfast area. The staff was friendly and professional, but the owners should be ashamed for having them work in these conditions. We were shocked to see a hotel in this state of repair with the Wyndham name.

We were looking for a place between New Orléans and our plantation and swamp tours the next day. Very convenient place. Our tv did not work so we were offered a different room but after being settled in our room we just relaxed instead. Besides the cockroach in our bathroom that I killed the place is pretty well maintained. Breakfast was fine, no complaints. Staff is nice and polite.

The staff was very kind and attentive. The main issue was the lack of cleanliness. The room had an awful smell, the sheets had other people's hairs on them, the shower curtain was moldy, and the floors were damp. My standards aren’t very high for hotels in general, but the smell was insane. Karen up front was wonderful, though!

The room we were given seemed to have recent water damage. There was a damp moldy smell on all of the first floor. We requested a move to a different room, and got a better, not great, room. The new room still didn't smell good, but was better than the first. The bathtub was a little rusted, and carpets weren't clean. Overall, not a great experience.

It wasn't great. The staff I commend. The rooms are old and stale. Need airing out. Refrigerator needed freon. Furniture is dated and they used one ply toilet paper. We went and purchased our own. The doors leading outside would not lock for security purposes.

Mardi Gras 2024

The hotel badly needs some TLC. The night girl front desk makes everything better. Once you can get past the dingy carpet on the floor our rooms was pretty decent. Two housekeeper to that hotel is slavery. I’m not gonna elaborate but that evening front desk lady made it happen for us. She does EVERYTHING. We had a good time. Thanks for the memories.
