"Wir waren mehr als begeistert von der Unterkunft. Ein super schönes und sauberes Haus. Es war auch schön weihnachtlich geschmückt. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. So gut habe ich das noch nie gesehen/ erlebt. Die Zimmer waren auch sehr schön. Gegen Aufpreis kann man auch Bettwäsche und Handtücher bekommen. Die Spielscheune ist bei den Kids sehr gut angekommen. Eine tolle Möglichkeit zum spielen, bei schlechten Wetter. Ich kann absolut nichts negatives sagen. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen!...

"We, my wife and our two little kids, 5 and 8, stayed for 3 nights at the Himmlischer Hof in Quedlinburg and we truly had the most wonderful time. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a medieval house, more than 500 years old. It is so beautifully decorated and the owners did such an amazing job renovating it with so much attention to detail that we felt at home right away. On top of that some generous welcome goodies were awaiting us when we arrived. The location couldn't be any better....

"We loved staying here. The space was very comfortable, private, and the courtyard was a great spot to chill at the end of each day. The building is listed in the Fachwerk Museum in Quedlinburg (worth visiting if you want to understand how such places were built historically) as having been constructed in 1485! The hosts (who live in the building) were very kind and communicative."

"My wife and I had a very pleasant stay in Magdeburg. The Hammer's were very friendly and provided us with many suggestions for our trips, - mainly on our bicycles. We did not have to use our car the four days we were there. Our accomodation was an extra house with all the necessary utensils, and then there was the pool which we were free to use. All in all. We can only recommend the place."

"Good hotel with amazingly clean rooms. Room was big and recently renovated, lots of space and nice touches like tea and coffee in the room. Big windows let in loads of natural light, and opening windows allowed fresh air which was nice. The location allows for easy access and parking, and then it's a very short walk to the centre of the historic town. Friendly team and good breakfast. As some other people commented, no, they don't speak English - but it turns out the hotel is in Germany, so don't expect it and you'll be fine. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and a smile, a few signs and a bit of patience got me checked in very quickly. Great value, would definitely stay again. "
