Great Cabin
We loved our stay, the bed was comfortable the kitchen had what we needed and the hot tub was really nice to relax in. The Hubby and I go on a trip around our anniversary every year and this is one of our favorite places that we have been to so far.

Honeymoon getaway
Perfect stay for our honeymoon, it was peaceful, comfortable and soooooo relaxing! Very clean and quiet..if u dont mind the sound of the wildlife! I would give a 10 and definitely wanna come back maybe try this winter!! Thank you guys very cute place 😁

Perfect Winter Getaway
Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hosts are great! Helpful, communicative, and made sure we knew all the things there were to do and see in the area. The cabin was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. We did a winter rafting tour of the Pine through Pine River Paddlesports. Highly recommend! We take our pup everywhere with us and are grateful that Hawk’s Nest Kabin is dog friendly. We will definitely book again!

Secluded family get away
The communication was so smooth and they put so much effort into making us feel comfortable. There is not much around which was nice, private, and helped us indulge in nature. Sourounded by woods the birds churped all day long. The hot tub was so amazing to relax in, stare up @ the stars, and read (we went during the cold months). About 15 minutes up the road is the small town of Luther with amazing food and very welcoming people. It was a very fun get away for my family and I.

Great lodge for the outdoor enthusiast!
My son and I chose this property as homebase for a grouse and steelhead outdoor event in central Michigan. It was perfect! The cabin ambience totally fit the occasion. All of the features of the property worked as advertised. It was a very pet friendly venue for our two hunting dogs. Hope to return for future outdoor excursions! And, we had success with both hunting and fishing😊

Happy Kampers
Quier , private and cozy surrounded by trees with lots of backyard birds and squirrels. We found this place on bring fido and booked through Vrbo. Check in is 3pm and check out is 11am though vrbo says check in is 4pm and check out is 12. The tv is Roku, they have books, dominos, cards and games. Outside is a picnic table, fire pit, and hot tub. You will not be disappointed

Private Get-away
The cabin is warm and cozy. The wood stove gives it charm. If you're looking for a private spot in the woods where you can unplug, this is the place for you. It rained most of the time we were there but we were able to grill outside and use the hottub in between down pours. We watched several movies from the wide selection that was available. We enjoyed seeing wildlife including deer and various birds. It's always nice to find places that allow four legged family members.

Relaxing paradise
This cabin is right off a small road where very little cars drive by. Its surrounded by trees and only a few houses near by. The check in and out process is so easy and definitely works to your advantage if on a tight schedule. The cabin its self is absolutely beautiful inside and the bed is soooo comfy. The jacuzzi is awesome, especially at night with the lights surrounding it. I will definitely be returning to this cabin in the future, longer than just a weekend that's for sure. Shelby was super responsive with any questions i had, even before we were staying at the cabin. Can't wait to book the next trip!

Perfect Place to Relax!
This cabin in the woods was exactly what my wife and I were looking for! It is a secluded location and very private and quiet. We were able to enjoy the wonderful hot tub on the back deck and watch as the hawks nested above in the high trees. The cabin itself is unassuming as you drive in but the knotty pine interior and Northern Michigan camp-style decorations make it very comfortable indeed. I was able to light a fire in the wood stove and even with the snows on the ground outside we were cozy on the inside. The kitchen is well-stocked with what you need to prepare a dish but we also used the grill to prepare some steaks. We were able to bring our German Shepherd and she could wander around the property without having to worry about her too much as she had plenty of sticks to choose from. If you are looking to just "get away from it all" this would be a place to do just that.

Weekend away
Our stay was great. The cabin was cute and comfortable. Very quiet area with a great view. The host was very prompt in responding to our two very minor questions about the lock and more wood for the stove. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The only thing I would say is the kitchen pots and pans are very minimal. So if you are like us and cook most meals I would recommend bringing what you need pan wise. All in all a nice relaxing weekend away.

We had a nice time. Everything was as listed. We were disappointed by the difficulty of turning the jets and lights on in the hot tub. Came away with mixed feelings after being asked to start laundry. Maybe I’m just use to hotel service.
