"The setting was beautiful. Just outside the national park. The check-in procedure was fine but we had no idea where to go. There are no signs for “The Reserve.” The apartment was pleasant but it needed a good deep cleaning. There was all kinds of stuff on the floor, long hairs in the shower floors and pube hairs on the wall of the shower. The lack of air conditioning was fine. We opened the windows and it was cool. There were also portable fans in the bedrooms. The kitchen kettle also needed a...

"Cannot say enough good things about this little cottage. It’s excellently located to all the best attractions in Kerry, and it’s perfectly situated in the country but close enough to Castleisland to make getting groceries and going to the local pub easy. The caretaker, Timmy, built a fire for us twice and a local man gave my Dad an autographed book of his own poetry. Absolutely perfect accommodation for a family trip."

"Our stay couldn’t have been better! Great location, a short walk to town and national park, able to see gardens, Ross castle and more. Bernard couldn’t have been a better host, meeting us at the apartment, giving us the best tips and recommendations, a true example of hospitality! "I had an amazing time at The Lake Hotel! The room was the perfect size and the beds were very comfortable. We had a view of the lake and a beautiful sunset every night. It was in walking distance of the Killarney National Park and Muckross House. The city was a short drive from the hotel. Only thing is we did not have A/C in our room and it was hot during our stay.
