"Our room was exceptional with breath taking views of Narragansett Bay and spacious with sophisticated and comfortable modern design. The hotel ground was well maintained with ample chairs and cabanas to enjoy and relax next to water. The restaurant next to swimming pool overlooking the bay was a perfect spot to relax and truly enjoy the meals and drinks. The hotel truly felt like a resort. We will certainly come back. "

"The hotel and area were beautiful; however, I did not think the price, around $600 a night, was at all worth the stay. There were no additional perks, such as a welcome or nightly reception. With $45 a night for parking as well, it was a bit of a disappointment. We love the area, but will be looking for accommodations that seem more reasonable next time."

"10 out of 10 rating. Excellent home offered more than imagined and we have rented thru VRBO and other agencies for several years. This tops places we have stayed in on Cape Cod! We really just needed to pack a suitcase. Everything is provided (minus a vac or a Dustbuster though for quick pickups) but we used the provided brooms. I did purchase a swifter to do the floors before we left as we normally do. A short walk to Kelly Beach in this quiet neighborhood is a great family oriented beach. Our two oldest grandchildren (4yrs) were much more acclimated this year for the ocean and loved jumping the waves and learning how to use their “surfboards” that they received for Christmas. This entire neighborhood is a great area for walking, running and riding bikes.One non beach day we went to Watch Hill and the kids loved riding the carousel. There’s a lot to do if you’re not a beach person. Jamestown Lighthouse park as well as Newport. A great show of fireworks on the evening of our departure ended our week at the beach, one week that our family is incredibly grateful for considering how our 2025 began. Homeowner Eric very communicative and ensured we could contact him at anytime. We certainly would come back to this area again. As our grandson age 4 said when he arrived, this is like a hotel Nana”. "Marriott was a wonderful spot for our stay in Newport! Central to all the activities - restaurants and bars — shopping etc. Across from the ballpark was fun!! Took in a Gulls game too. Amenities were wonderful - new outside area next to indoor salt water pool was perfect. "

"The first and lasting impression of this B&B style 3rd floor suite was the attention to detail, decor, comfort AND beautiful spacial design. Nothing was missing for comfort nor convenience. Our generous and outgoing hosts greeted us with warmth and oodles of information to ensure a pleasant stay.Our suite not only had a big beautiful and comfy king sized bed adjacent to a gorgeous bathroom with large tub and shower, but a sitting room with love seat and cushioned chair which doubled as a little "breakfast room",stocked with snacks, breakfast cereals, tea and coffee plus TWO glass covered cake pedestals sporting a whole variety of delicious baked goods by our hostess, a professional baker. With a small refrigerator, microwave, and a lovely cabinet lovingly stocked with glassware, dishes and cutlery everything was available for any meal you chose to eat in your suite. As someone from the hospitality industry myself (and being a professional pastry chef I recognize good pastry when I see and taste it)you could not land in a more lovely nor enjoyable space nor have such friendly and accommodating hosts. Needless to say, before the end of our three night stay we felt like close friends to these two wonderful people who are most gracious and enjoyable people to know. We thank Connie and Frank, the hosts, for making this visit to Jamestown such a memorable one for us. You'll want to stay here, too!"
