"Staff was friendly & welcoming, property needs improvement. It was slippery when raining due to leaking roof way to the room , Room itself cleaned. Apart from there was a spit on the wall ( phlegm ) No television, there was a plug it was a electrical hazard exposed wire, no toiletries . View from the room lovely see front. "Very good stay, staff and food were great, the room was fine but the bed could have been a little more comfy/bathroom was austere, so for a first spot after a long long flight the room could have been a little comfier in hindsight for our needs. Great courtyard, easy access to all of Negombo, quiet setting away from any crowds."
"The fridge and the TV in room didn't work, the pool was green, the bar photographed on their web site is closed and has mould growing up all the the walls. We had to sweep many cigarette butts away from the landing outside our front door, most of the pot plants around the property have long been dead, I could go with more on but you get the picture."
"My check in was terrible… the woman tried to bill me when i had already paid. Then she tried to put me in a downstairs room with no view (i paid for ocean view).. she needs to be trained on how to accept hotels bookings!! The room was surface clean but there was terrible dark stains on toilet and the the light switches were very grubby. Wifi was off the first night.. it came back the following day, but did not reach my room"
" Hotel itself from the street is looking good. Rooms could do with an update. Staff is really friendly and helpfull. Next to the sea which is quite handy as only 2min walk and swimming in the sea. Swimming poole is clean. All good. Need to chech air con as some rooms it did not work. Overall good location "

"Het hotel heeft geen lift! Er is veel achterstallig onderhoud, diverse zaken werken niet, bv. airconditioning, warmwatervoorziening, waaiers, lekkende douchecabines. De ligbedden bij het zwembad bestaan deels uit verrot hout, hetgeen gevaarlijk is. De financiële afrekening gebeurt nog op 19e eeuwse wijze (losse bonnetjes, een rekenmachientje) en de receptionisten spreken zeer slecht Engels.
Kortom: een upgrade is dringend nodig."

"Amazing hotel. Staff so lovely and helpful, grounds beautiful, fantastic pool and pool area. This was a short stay, arriving in the afternoon for a flight the next morning but could have stayed here much longer. So peaceful, really unlike any airport transit hotel I have ever stayed in. We only had dinner and all had different things but all were delicious. Free transfer to the airport in the morning was exactly at the agreed time. Thank you very much for a perfect last night in Sri Lanka."
