Ideally situated in Funchal, the location was perfect, complemented by a wonderful breakfast. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The hotel is clean and modern and the staff are all very helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a large choice available. Our room was cleaned every day, the beds were comfortable and there was a kettle with tea and coffee in the room, also a complimentary bottle of wine, and fresh water in the room every day. The bar off the reception area didn’t seem well used but the view from the top floor was great. The pool is small, and the wind pretty strong up there. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the seafront and the city, there are shops nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Git to the nearest pub in Transval, 1.6kms , 20 minutes walk ! The SAS could not do it in that, its 1 in 3 all the way, get a taxi, or you will die and be eaten by goats.
