Super convenient spot, it's within walking distance to pretty much everything. Had two different reservations and both times felt really safe and both rooms were great. Staff was also really helpful. Definitely staying here again on my next visit to Madrid.

Rooms echo so night time was very noisy. Shared washrooms weren’t as bad as we had thought. They were clean and always available. Street noise was a bit aggressive due to major road and bar below room window. Be prepped with the app to get into building/ rooms. Was confusing at first when app wasn’t working and we were locked out

The accommodation is a pension!
The pictures don’t reflect what the accommodation is. The building has a sign stating that they are rated as CH, meaning a pension in the hospitality industry. The room was small and no cleaning was provided, except for towels when requested. This is not a 3-star accommodation, as I previously mentioned, the building is a pension.

The modern technology of using bluetooth might be convenient for remote management but is a disaster if ones phone battery dies. We had to let in other tenants more than once. Management staff were very friendly and the cleani g ladies were excellent

Good friendly communications after booking, was a bit apprehensive after booking realising you had to download an app which would be the access keys to the building and apartment. In the event, this was smoother than I thought. The room itself was spacious, just what I had ordered with a double bed, table chairs sofa bed, good amount of plugs, television (couldn’t find BBC World or whatever the equivalent is these days) so didn’t use. Bathroom clean, tidy, reasonable size. Nice wardrobe with sufficient bedding and towels if there were more guests. Only thing what was missing was a kettle which could have been handy. Supermarket Dia nearby. The Sol Metro and Renfe was about 1 mile away or 1.6km. Thank you to the hosts.

I did not even stay at the property as there was a problem with my room. They offered me a different location but I declined and made other arrangements. The property said that i would receive a full refund. Expedia is trying to assist me in getting my refund but the property is not answering any calls or emails. I am out all of my money!!!

Terrible experience
Terrible experience, I wouldn't recommend! To start with, staff made ZERO effort to help out and provide good customer service. Then, only after you book, you're informed you must download an app to enter the building & room (since there's no staff on site). Then a bunch of msgs back & forth to get the reference code to make the bloody app work, etc. Check out experience: there are lockers to leave your luggage in, the phone hours on Sundays are 11h-15h. We called at 11:10 in order to ask how to get our suitcases back a few hrs later (since the app won't open doors after 11am check out), now ask if they answered the phone? We found a lady on site and she told us she'd be there until 14:30 & would let us in. We arrived at 14:15, called 10 times to be let in, ask again if she answered the phone (we tried 2 different numbers)? They didn't answer to the whatsap msg either. Just too little care about clients - really, there are much better places to stay in Madrid

Habitación el terror….
Habitación del terror Nuestro hospedaje fue de 3 personas Pros: Ubicación, Edificio, Camas cómodas. Negativos: La habitación se encuentra en un edificio en el cual se comparten los baños con hasta 15 personas en un par de ocasiones mientras tomábamos la ducha o estábamos usando el baño llegaban a tocar y presionar para desocuparlo… La habitación está sobre un bar y es extremadamente ruidoso además de que se escucha todo el bullicio y balbuceo de las personas eso sin contar que el humo viene directamente a la habitación porque se salen a fumar… La habitación es muy muy pequeña y costosa comparada con otros lugares que visitamos anteriormente, no es un lugar para estar. Los baños están viejos y desatendidos al igual que la pintura en los accesos y corredores. El acceso es mediante una app si me llego a quedar sin batería no hay forma alguna de poder entrar al edificio ni a la habitación. En definitiva es un lugar que no volveré no hay ni siquiera shampoo o papel en el baño, las amenidades son pobres y limitadas. El costó es alto para lo que ofrecen.
