Beautiful newly refurbished apartment between Palacio Real and La Latina

A modern apartment, decorated with personality, where nothing is missing so you can feel at home.

It has two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds. In the living room there is a very comfortable sofa bed. The apartment is very bright. It has a toilet and a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is modern and communicates with the living room. It is provided with Vitroceramic, small fridge, hood for odors, washing machine, microwave, and has all the necessary equipment. It has a flat screen TV that will make the evenings more pleasant after a day of long walks. Of course you can not miss Wifi, very important in these times. You also have an iron and ironing board available. A clothesline, if it rains, and another exterior that overlooks the inner courtyard. It is a bass with elevator.
The floor also has cleaning products, toilet paper, hand soap, dishwasher, scourer, lullaby, ballet and roll of kitchen paper.
At 7 minutes there is a Supermarket. There are bars, restaurants and shops.
The subway is 'Puerta de Toledo', 7 minutes walk. There are also several buses.
Although the apartment is very well surrounded by public transport, you can walk to the famous Madrid Trail, La Puerta de Toledo, Madrid Rio, La Almudena Cathedral, Royal Palace, La Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the lively Barrio La Latina where you can find many restaurants, cafes, theater, etc.

For those who come by car, I recommend a Parking that is 10 minutes away by car and the price is € 8 / day and € 40/7 days. Check with me

Visiting our daughter in Madrid
We did an extended stay in Marina's property, 10 nights. Our daughter is studying abroad for the semester and we went to visit her. It was a GREAT stay, there was room for our daughter to stay overnight a few times plus we hosted 5 of her friends for dinner one evening. Marina told us about a grocery store nearby and even provided a wheeled cart to help us bring groceries home. Everything was so clean and the kitchen had almost everything we needed to host dinner. If you are looking for a full kitchen this is not it, nice stovetop and microwave but no oven. We got by fine without it. Communicating with Marina is very easy and she is so pleasant and nice. The apartment is located in a residential neighborhood and not right in the heart of the tourist areas. But we found the quiet evenings to be very restful. We would definitely return, if our travels take us to Madrid again.

We had a lovely stay in our apartment. Everything was clean and confortable. Walking distance to eveywhere we wanted to go. Marina was super helpful with suggestions of restaurants and directions around the neighborhood. Would definitely come back and stay again!

Lovely apartment!
The apartment was really well presented and very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay in Madrid. We cooked in a couple of nights and it was also close enough to plenty of bars and restaurants go out for the remaining evenings. Marina was really welcoming and very helpful, helping us navigate the city and providing us with lots of tips. The centre is close enough walk to and the metro is not far if you don't want to. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Wonderful location and fantastic host
This property had a great location in Madrid - an easy walk to many points of intrest, such as the Royal Palace, as well as the popular Cava Baja street. Marina was wonderfully kind and helpful, and the apartment has a great layout. With a family of four, it was a huge plus to have 1.5 bathrooms. The air conditioning was also very effective for our summer stay. It was a difficult decision to give 4 stars, but it was frustrating that the washing machine did not work for the duration of our stay (a necessity since we planned to wash to minimize luggage), and there were some plumbing issues. All in all we would stay again, as I believe the host is committed to the maintenance of the property and plans to remedy those issues.

Enjoyable stay
The apartment was nicely located, within walking distance of major tourist sights. It was on the lower level, though, so one side of it was below ground, but it didn't bother us as we were out most of the time. Our host, Marina, was very communicative at all stages, including giving us recommendations on restaurants, taxis, etc. Overall, a very nice stay, and I would recommend it.

Perfect location, very nice accomodations!
This is a very nice, comfortable apartment in a quiet neighborhood, but very close to restaurants, shopping and all the main attractions in Madrid. We walked to the museums (Prado, Reina Sofia) easily. Marina, our host, was generous and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Excellent location
Perfect size for four adults.My sister and her spouse joined us for 10 days . We like to spend much of the evening resting after a busy day visiting. The size of the living room and dining room allows each one of us to vacate to his/ her own preferred activity. We had everything needed to cook our breakfasts and diner and prepare our lunches. It was as advertised with enough space for a family of four and a short walk to the highlights of Madrid and the surrounding neighborhoods. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well and short cab rides to the major train stations, which was great for day trips.

Marina was lovely and so accommodating. The apartment is in a great location. Not right in the middle of all the tourist spots but a short walk away from everything. So you get to enjoy the quiet neighborhood life of Madrid. We enjoyed it very much.

Apartment was within short taxi ride from train station. Check-in was straighforward and the apartment had all we needed to cook meals for 3 days. Great location to walk about the old section of Madrid and go to several art musuems including the Prado and Reina Sofia.

Great intro to Madrid
We had three wonderful days as we explored central Madrid before joining a tour group for a 10 day excursion in rural Spain. Marina did a wonderful job introducing us to her apartment, the neighborhood, and great local places to eat and visit in central Madrid. Four of us (all 65+) found this a relaxing place to relax after our busy days. Comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen and fun art pieces welcomed us and we would be glad to come back here in future visits to Madrid.

Great apartment and superb host
We stayed in this comfortable, spacious and well-equipped apartment for 3 nights from 4-7 Feb. The host, Marina, had been in contact with us before our arrival, always responding very promptly to messages. Due to a technological breakdown, the agreed arrangement for notifying her by WhatsApp of our arrival at the airport didn't work - but it was absolutely no problem as she used some traditional common sense to work out our ETA at the apartment and arrived at pretty much the same time as us. She took plenty of time to show us how things worked, especially the WiFi and heating, and gave us lots of suggestions about good places to eat and drink. She even gave us a lift to the nearby supermarket. We found the apartment's location perfect.It is in a residential area so is quiet at night but easy to walk to restaurants, the Royal Palace etc. It was only 20 minutes' walk to the Plaza Mayor but if walking is a problem, the Puerta de Toledo is only 5 minutes away. It is a big junction with good public transport links - buses and a metro stop. Marina pays a lot of attention to detail and works hard to keep high standards for her guests. There had been a small problem with the heating before our arrival which she had resolved immediately and we had no issues at all - but she is always ready to deal with any problems.Marina's personal touch made us feel very welcome and secure. She is a star!

This place was perfect for my family. There was 2 bedrooms (Three beds) and a couch that converted to bed. The location was quiet and also walkable (15 min) to the royal palace and grocery store (7 min). Rondas was a nice restaurant down the street that made great egg sandwiches (affordable!). We would also walk to streets full of restaurants (10 min). We were 7 min walk from the train stop at Puerto de Toledo which we used to get everywhere within the city of Madrid. The host was very kind and attentive and made check in super easy.

Fun art, spacious living space, great shower. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that there are 1 1/2 baths rather than two full baths. Thin hard squeaky mattresses on twin beds…and double bed had broken slats. Good location and a fun place for coffee and tostada just up the street. Marina was very helpful with directions, suggestions for places to eat, and getting us a ride to the airport.
