Excellent positioned, gorgeous apartment with exceptional host.
The apartment is contemporary, beautiful and exactly as pictured. The portraits on the black doors were missing but everything else is exactly as pictured.
The apartment requires the ability to walk up one flight of stairs and is best suited for a couple or a couple with one (1) child. The apartment has a single bedroom with a king size bed and a piece of furniture that can easily convert to a twin size bed in the living room. Ours was a party of three that included a husband, wife, and seventeen (17) year old son. Our 6'1" son did just fine on the twin bed for three (3) nights.
The apartment is very well positioned being a three (3) minute walk to the nearest metro stop (Opera) and can easily be accessed from the train station (Atocha). If arriving by rail you can catch the metro at Atocha, ride four (4) stops to Sol metro station, transfer trains and ride one (1) stop to Opera metro station. From the time you get off your train you can be at the apartment in thirty (30) minutes or less with minimal effort. The easy access to Atocha allows for a daytrip to Toledo which we did.
In addition to the apartment being beautiful and very well positioned, it is owned and managed by Javier, a man rightfully proud of his apartment and enthusiastic to make your stay in his city an exceptional one. Javier was prompt with communication on WhatsApp prior to our arrival and during our stay, greeted us outside the apartment upon arrival, and made many great food recommendations.
