PERFECT SUMMER RETREAT FOR FAMILIES/GROUPS IN MAGGIE VALLEY!

EXPERIENCE THE "HALLMARK MOVIE MOUNTAIN MAGIC" IN MAGGIE THIS WINTER! Smoky Views Retreat has a parking pad large enough for two side-by-side trucks to park, a six-seater hot tub, porch bar w/TV, wall-mounted video arcade games, a home theatre room, a fully-stocked kitchen, and a double-decker porch which allows for ample viewing of the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains. Keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife, bears, groundhogs, and turkey! Due to the abundance of wildlife, this is a pet-free cabin.

Our 3 BD/3 BA cabin sits at 3,500 ft elevation just above the Maggie Valley Country Club/Golf Course with magnificent views of the Blue Ridge Mountains! It is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Smoky Mountains, Soco Falls, Cataloochee Ski Resort, and Lake Junaluska. Smoky Views Retreat is convenient to everything which we love & hope you create bountiful memories at our cabin!

Our cabin boasts an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings on the main level with tons of natural light flooding in from the multiple windows and deck double doors. All bedrooms have 42" SmartTVs.

The short-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the deck are beautiful, and because the home is surrounded by trees, the seclusion cannot be beat. There is also a rushing creek below that can be heard from the double decks. You might even be fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of our resident wildlife; bears, fox, turkeys, groundhogs, and bears.

The cabin is at 3,500ft elevation. The driveway has a slight grade, but is short and paved with a wide pad at the top. The grill is propane.

Excellent Choice
The home was super clean, had super cute decor and it was just what we wanted. There was plenty of space for us all to have alone time after a full day of hiking together, plus plenty of outdoor spaces for us to enjoy the nice mountain atmosphere and views. And, there were plenty of TVs inside and outside when we wanted to watch. The hostess was great and easily accessible. We had a great stay.

Perfect in every way!
This house was just perfect for me and my family (husband and two kids, 8 & 13)!! It was so beautiful, spacious, and clean! My kids loved playing Pac-Man, enjoying the theater space, having their own bedrooms, and of course, we all enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The house had everything we needed and more. We only wish we had stayed longer! Maggie Valley is beautiful and we hope to come back and explore the area again. Thank you, Eve!

The house is great. Lot's of little extras that really make the experiece memorable. The welcome binder that the host put together came in handy more than once. We had a hard time getting the gas fireplace to work and I sent a message through the app to Eve. She had someone there no more than 30 minutes later and the issue was fixed and he showed us how to operate it. Great place to stay.

Nice cabin. Wouldn’t stay again.
The cabin was clean and decorated nicely. The host was very attentive and quick to respond to questions. The beds were comfortable. We loved the theater room. The cons… The heat downstairs did not work and it was FREEZING. So cold downstairs that we could not sleep downstairs or use that shower. I did message host and she promptly answered that the heating unit has a difficult time pushing heat downstairs. The kitchen lacked kitchen pots, pans, cooking utensils. I had to go to the store to purchase larger pot, strainer, baking pans, drink pitcher and sharp knife. The refrigerator constantly froze things, even after changing settings(nobody wants frozen eggs). There is no outside fire ring. There were no spa towels and no extra towels(we got 1 towel per person for a week stay). You have to drive trash to drop it off, a 15 minute drive or pay $5 per bag of garbage. This was very inconvenient and a first for me. Remember to bring baby gates if you have babies/toddlers. There are multiple sets of stairs.

The view was SPECTACULAR! Up on the mountain side, so steep driveway and narrow roads to get there. House was spacious and nice. Enjoyed the grill, hot tub and video games that were there. Locked ourselves out of the house and called The Cabin Fairy and they were there within minutes to let us in. Maggie Valley was a nice quaint town, would definitely stay here again!

What a gem of a house up in the mountains! It’s the little touches of love that really made our stay perfect. This cabin is centrally located and is an easy drive to Waynesville or Asheville. Eve was incredibly responsive to messages, and when we had an issue, the handyman was there in less than 20 minutes. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful home away from home!
Our family decided to get away for a few days and found this gem! Location is so convenient to wake up and look at the woods and mountains with coffee and then drive to popular hiking trails or in town in minutes, Waynesville in 10-15 minutes, or Asheville in about 35 minutes. The house was very clean and well apportioned - attention to detail was wonderful (e.g. blankets on the coach for watching a movie at night, towels for the bathroom AND hot tub, multiple cutting boards, ready to go laundry room....so may examples, it's the little things!). Layout of the house was great for our family of six to spread out in the morning or when winding down at night. Tremendous hosts - we arrived to some goodies and awesome local recommendations for sights and fare. We will go back - this property and Maggie Valley are worth it!

The view is great from the house and the drive in. Our family of 7 had plenty of space and really enjoyed being there. The house is spotless and very family friendly. We loved having the hot tub and the arcade games. Great touch! The owners were very easy to work with and communicated with us very promptly. We would definitely stay here again. A relaxing comfortable stay high in the Smoky Mountains.
My husband and I wanted to get away with just the two of us for a relaxing long weekend. Wow was it ever relaxing with a nice clean hot tub and the most comfortable beds! Even the pillows were great! The cabin had everything you could possibly want with even a gigantic TV screen and a PAC man game on the wall! The road to this cabin was narrow, and straight up to the top of the mountain with gorgeous trees everywhere. All the kitchen equipment and dishes were brand new and fully stocked. I would come here again in a heartbeat!

Refreshing stay in Maggie Valley!
Initially we booked a different property the owner managed and ended up having to switch our location due to a technical repair issue. They were upfront about the issue and ensure our stay went overwell. Location was ideal for us to be under a hour in about every direction to interests of ours (GSMNP, Blue Ridge, Cataloochee, Lake Junaluska). The property was recently renovated and a great location for a couple looking to get away or a family trip!
