We had to do our checking from another property, the Chateau was not occupied at al. The next morning, excavation machine, trucks and bulldozers, rollers start working after 7:00 AM. Although somewhat rustic, the Chateau conserva a cachet of Ancestral building in the city of Magog.

No coffee in the room, but beautiful comfortable, quiet. Coffee was downstairs. Better than average coffee. The room and beautiful historic place was amazing. 2 nights would have been nice just to enjoy the building and room 8!

The building is a charming home built in the 19th century. It shows that “old world charm”. The office did not have a record of our Expedia reservation, but, thankfully she was able to accommodate us. The employee gave us good recommendations for meals.

Beau séjour. Hôtel qui date du début des années 1900 et qui aurait besoin d’une mise à jour. Beau décor qui préserve l’ambiance d’antan. Salon accessible aux visiteurs. Grande machine à glace. Great potential in the future hopefully. New ownership apparently and just did not appear ready for guests. Website makes it appear as though it is set up as a bed and breakfast, not the case at all. Very nice location and the owner was very pleasant.
