Good Service Amidst Renovation Challenges
We recently stayed at the hotel and had a mixed experience due to some unforeseen circumstances, but we still appreciated the efforts of the hotel staff to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
When we arrived, we had booked an oceanfront room with two twin beds through Expedia. Unfortunately, the hotel was undergoing renovations, and none of the oceanfront twin rooms were available. In fact, there were no twin rooms available at all. As a result, we were given a partial ocean view room with one bed, and a movable bed was added to the already tight space, which made the room feel quite cramped.
That said, the staff at the hotel were genuinely attentive and did their best to resolve the situation. Chamara, the hotel manager, offered us complimentary breakfast for most of our stay as a gesture of goodwill. Additionally, Sakura, who was at the front desk, was particularly helpful and understanding. She listened to our concerns and helped coordinate our room move. On the last day of our trip, we were finally moved to an oceanfront room, albeit a single bedroom, which was a great way to end our stay.
While our room situation was less than ideal, the service provided by the staff made a significant difference, and we are grateful for their efforts. If you are planning to stay here during the renovation period, just be aware that room availability may not be as expected.
