"This is a small hotel that is near Lambton Quay and the Terrace. At first sight, it did not look like a hotel. When you enter, the reception is very small and there was a long dark corridor to the rooms. I was on an upper floor. The room was surprisingly spacious! Have stayed here three times now, and am kiwi living in the US who grew up in Wellington. "Friendly and polite staff who checked us in quickly and efficiently. Really appreciated the gesture from the management as well to mark our celebration. Lovely comfortable spacious room with a beautiful view of the waterfront. The bed was very comfortable and the location is also very good. The restaurant is good for dinner however the breakfast needs improvement as it’s got a small variety and is the same every single day. Overall highly recommended."
