Auch die Isolation im Dachgeschoss musste wirklich hervorragend gelöst sein, denn bei über 30° Außentemperatur heizte sich das Zimmer nicht auf. Leider war die Kücheneinrichtung sehr minimalistisch. "Five of us stayed very comfortably. We could have easily had twice that many. There was a misunderstanding about towels and such. It was entirely my fault. This was my first experience with a self-service place and I didn’t read the instructions completely. Complicated by a bit of a language barrier. Otherwise, everything was perfect."

Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. "Belle villa passive. Tout confort et très propre. Mise à disposition du nécessaire de base : produit vaisselle, papier WC., huile, vinaigre,sel.... Maison convenant pour 6 personnes. Par contre , les lits jumeaux conviennent mieux à des enfants qu'aux adultes . Ce sont des lits tiroirs donc pas très confortables. Proche de sites touristiques. Nous vous recommandons cette maison pour vos futures vacances dans la forêt noire. "

"This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at the Lamm, the 2 previous times it was as a couple this time I was a solo traveller. I had a single room and was pleasantly surprised (not having stayed in a single room before) the room had a fridge that came in handy, and a view of the valley from the balcony. The balcony had a seat so could chill out on. The restaurant was fully booked but as was a resident they found me a table, the food was lovely. The hotel isn’t actually in Baiersbronn, it’s some 2.5 miles out. As I said this was the 3rd time there and would definitely make it a 4th"
